Only my opinion but i would go for day job until your dd is a little older and it would give you the stability to clear the debt first, temp jobs you can usually push for a bit extra money and in 6 months you could still be looking.
Its been a dream for a long time couldnt it wait a little longer.
Well done on ebay im ashamed to say been shopping with a friend and treated myself to a few bits and just cant get my ebay head on. :o

  • Morning all!

Do you ever think that just every so often a little angel is looking down on you and gives you a little bit of grace?

I havent slept for 2 days worrying about money what with being out of mainstream work and jsa not being sorted and this hastle with the council ive paid everything i can sent some cheques off and realised they will take every penny i have with no idea when anything else will be coming in.:(

Dd comes home from dance school last night with a bill for £42 for this term, she text her dad asking if he could pay it,................ no kin answer!! Typical of him!

BF starts this new job on friday but wont get paid till next friday so needs petrol money and ii didn't know if i could help him on that, im not funding him by no means just we both ended up out of work on the same week :(

And then... this morning.. i cheque the bank balance to find a Bank credit has gone in. Now this could be from Housing if they have sorted things out as its a lot less than what im entitled to, It could be from WFTX as on the phone they said they will sort my payments out but im entitled to a four week fun on, or it could be jsa but it seems a little too much,, so im not touching it until i KNOW where its from as this is the mess that i got in last time... anyway at least i have a little bit of grace there i suppose

Anyway my day is working till 10am from home and a bloody interview at 11. So within that hour i have to shower get dressed and get there which takes 15 mins.... not too much of a rush then! I also have my petrol light on as forgot i would need it this morning !!!! TWIT!!

Then home to write my PPI RECLAIM LETTERS
Then off to price a job up with BF for some private work
Then off to drive for an hour and a half to norwich hospital to see his mum this evening
Then pick DD up on way home from my folks
Then breath.... and pray a little

Have a nice day all xxx

  • Me again..

God this diary thing is addictive something will happen and i just want to write it all down, as said before so I can look back and think YOU HAVE ACHIEVED!

    Anyway my morning so far...

Got up and worked and rushed around and had my interview at 11am with the Logistics firm., Very very informal which was nice and an even better bonus was i had initially been told it was a temp 6 month position and its actually a permanent one!:j Anyway it went well was only in there about 20 mins they apologised that i had not been given any information from the agency and would be taking those matters up further. I should know tomorrow!

Just done my Capital one reclaim letter. I had my statements and it comes to £84.46 which isn't too bad but i have done a letter for it, also stating if i have missed any then to add those on too lol :p

My bigger charges have come from Halifax so as i dont have a list of all of those i will now do my letter requesting all charges, from what i have read though these aren't the easiest of banks to get something back from but for £10 and a stamp its got to be worth a try

Then its chicken curry from freezer for dinner (mse style) and off to hospital!

    Love to all xx

    Hey there,

Just thought i'd pop in and say hello  and wish you lots of luck on your journey. These diaries are addictive aren't they...great way to get things off your chest and also to many people who understand and are in the same position ;)

Congrats on your interviews and jobs - both you and your OH! Hope it all works out well for you and then you can get onto the lives you both deserve and are working hard for. Also congrats to your OH for stopping the drink, clearly you have been a great support for him - well done you :T

Re the council stuff - all they will do is re-calculate your entitlement based upon your circumstances at the time (i.e. with what proofs you have given them of your income) and if you are overpaid then they will take if off your current ent at a weekly of about £9/10 per week if you are on JSA currently - something along those lines. You don't need to worry about anything else there - just perhaps make a point of telling them asap of any changes to ensure you don't get any more overpayments.

Glad your tax refund has come in so soon, sure that will help!

Anyway enough yapping from me, have subscribed so will pop back and see how you are doing.

    Enjoy your weekend x
  • Hey choc thanks for popping in darlin hope all is well in your world, im trying to catch up on diaries so no doubt ill be over your end soon :)

Thank you for your kind words, its nice when someone pops in isn't it you don't feel like your totally crazy whingeing and whining about things if someone answers lol

Didn't hear back about the job so hoping that will be monday fingers crossed if i don't get it it would be a shame but i hate the waiting thats involved in between:mad:

Had a wonderful day yesterday got all house done and decided on a bbq so invited some family round the buggars all said yes! Picked girls up from dancing at 3.30 ran round morrisons got back at 4.30 and family turned up at 5 and there i am still covered in chinese chicken making kebabs... i admit i spent a bit too much at supermarket but it was a fantastic day eating drinking and so much laughter then playing cards till 1am the money was worth it.

Today im working this morning and this evening for a few hours, DD been kidnapped by nanny and grandad to go to seaside which sadly the weather is miserable here for them. I have ironing to do i have some papers to do but after the week i have had i am getting the duvet on the sofa for a few hours and having some me time.....

Hope everyone is fine love to all xx

Lazy? lol im sure you keep busy enough, my utility room is full of ebay stuff, got some to post off tomorrow and about another 70 items to get on there this week, BF working away this week and with DD at school all week should give me plenty of uninterrupted time to get things done..... she says!

Sat working at mo, dont all my ironing earlier after warming up last nights bbq meat thrown in with some curry sauce and fried new pots for tea... different but tasty lol...

Paid some bills off with my tax return so still left short as not got a clue as and when anyone will be sorting me anything out so a bit of a waiting game. BF gets paid friday which i know he will sort me out he is good like that he says i only have to ask but im one of those that would rather struggle than ask lol...

Right My fave man Mr Connolly is on the tele so back to work i go with a few giggles with him

    much love xx
