Well done on all the positive vibes today, dont you just love it when you clear so many things.
Sorry for the babble this morning was running late for work.
Bite the bullet with the charges and PPi do it sooner rather than later. My first claim was returned within one week and all it took was an email and suddenly i was £158 better off :cool: well one of my debts was paid off.
Keep positive with the job hunting something will turn up, it did for me its not ideal but it pays the bills and when the time is right I will move on to something that i enjoy doing.
Congrats to OH on the job front thats fab news.
I also have loads to list on ebay but have lost my motivation, if you list for 99p its free and from the 1st June if you list more than 100 in a month you have to become a business seller.

Thanks honey, nice of you to pop in as i said in the first piece this diary is more for my benefit but i also know what i have gained from reading others, mainly knowing im not alone!

Will start on the ppi tomorrow i have done some reading and seen some people go from literally making a call to writing their own brief letters to following the template so i should somewhere along the line be able to make some sense of it, just not too good on interests and what i should have paid and shouldnt have but i do know i have some ridiculous charges from halifax over the years so hopefully start on them eventhough i still bank with them, also got capital one and a halifax cc but thats about it but anything is worth a go xx

Morning all hope we are all well!

Sun is shining here in lincs but there was frost on the cars this morning and dd moaned when she stepped out of the door saying.." maybe i will pop my coat on"
What is it with kids rarely wanting to wear a coat??

Anyway up at 6.15am to get oh his sarnies done and away to his new job, not heard anything back so i take it he got there ok, he starts at 8 and finishes at 7 but its an hours drive both ways too so thats him dropping like a fly when he gets in!

Then dd left at 8am after we had words, im feeling a little guilty as i snapped she is 12 going on 18 and im sure im not the only one, 99% of the time she is great but my word she can be sarcy at times.... its THAT age coming isnt it?>?>?>

Anyway i just flipped at something so simple yet she does it constantly i feel her dad who does sweet sod all gets respect and i do everything and gets nothing...... do i need to be tougher? I think i have maybe brought her up as more of my friend that my daughter and now im feeling the repocussions of it:(

Anyway lots to do today so my list will be as follows

A few notes .my oh stays here now and then depending on where he is working so as much as he does not pay into the house as such he will buy groceries and help out where he can i have not included this as its my debt etc so my money is needed

My oil is 60 a month as last year i needed some and didnt have the initial amount they required so now im on a monthly plan.

Mobile phones , this is for 2 contracts. dd is £15 a month which i have just dropped down was 25, and mines 30 a month which i cant change till october but will be dropping it down then

My bb and phone is with post office and my tele is sky which will be dropped down at end of footie season as i do every year, may be a treat but i dont drink and we dont go out anywhere at wknds so this is our social life

Well i think thats about it i did tweak a few things here and there to play with the snowball but at least its black and white now I do have a couple of other little debts but nothing thats worrying me or even worth mentioning in the sense its interest free all frozen and personal

Gawwwd its me again lol

Eventful day so far so thought i would jot a few things down.

Went to the agency who wanted to see me re a job she was running half hour late so that put me back, i was in and out within 10 mins but at least its done.

She called me 10 mins after getting home to see if i was ok for an interview next week so should be getting back in touch with me on that one :j

Then had to go to the dreaded council with 5 months of bank statements. i HATE the fact some office junior will now be seeing all my details etc but i understand its what is needed to clear all this up, Yet again the woman said " oh these housing forms are just so complicated aren't they" :nods:

Anyway handed all that in and off to the jobcentre for my signing on, I am supposed to fill this little card thing in with i think 3 things a week or something to say what i habe been doing to look for work, i had 3 pages she said.." oh you want a job then" Doh!!!! :wall:

Anyway home now so time to tidy up my paperwork from earlier and get some tea going before i get some work done tonight

Well done on writing it all down, I find it so much easier to move forward now i have it in black and white and im sure you will too.
As for the 12 year old i have a DS at 14 i know where you are coming from.
Good luck with the interview you will find a job you are so determind.
Just remember every overpayment even a few pennies makes all the difference

Morning all,

Gawwwd its wednesday already, think with dd going back to school on a tuesday has thrown me.

BF work situation has changed he got a contract on monday to do 2 weeks work 7 days a week starting yesterday which he went to. but sods law another job he has been waiting for has come up which will turn into longer work and closer so he only doing 2 days and then having tomorrow off to start this other job friday.. talk about waiting for a bus!

Dd has dance class tonight so her mate comes round for tea and i drive them there so its sausage and mash for tea when they get in.

Rent has come out of my bank account this morning, whoaaaa thats a drop i felt a little rich for a few days then bang goodbye pennies!

Today will be working this morning for 2 hours and then ebay.... urgh i hate that job but i think posting them all off is the worst!

Anyway my list of things to do

Just a lil bit of good news to add to my day

Applied for a job about 3 weeks ago working with kids with crap start in life basically its what ive always wanted to do so trying everything i can to get into it, Anyway i heard nothing so chased it up with an email last week they said if i was shortlisted i would hear within 2 weeks and got a phone call today asking me to go to an interview next week :j

I know its only an interview but i have been picked for it so thats a good start already


right im off ebaying xxx

got 10 items on ebay would have been more but i have made some into bundles to try and shift things, would carry on but some rugrats will want feeding before i know it xxx

Hope you have been letter writing, i asked tesco cc for refund of charges £150 2 weeks ago they have offered after 2nd letter £237, you must write your letters.

Thanks for popping in sweetie, appreciated and well done on the tesco, i will get my letters done this week just so much been happening been here there and everywhere and literally running out of time.

bf ma has just had a major op so im to and fro hospital visits too, they thought she had a shadow on her lung which was cancerous but shes had it seen to and it was a tumour but not aggresive whichever that means but anyway shes on the mend and i got to go tomorrow to see her too.

Got some ebay done will do some more friday if i get a moment to myself lol

Had some more good news today...:j

As i stated earlier one company rang me up about a job interview i had been shortlisted for next wednesday which is great..... then....
The agency interview i had yesterday at 1pm called me up to say can i go tomorrow, the daft bat had previously said NEXT thursday, so a slight mix up anyway i couldnt do the time she wanted for tomorrow but they desperately want to see me so shifted others about and got me in for 11am tomorrow!

THEN...... on Monday i applied for another job similar role to job number 1 which i have an interview for on wed of next week.... .and these want me to go to a seminar and interview on Saturday morning 9.15am!!!!

Talk about all coming at once.

tomorrows interview if with a logistics company 10 mins from where i work and normal working hours in an office a role i have done before but its only a 6 month temp position where of course i could prove my worth and hope it turns into something else.....

Saturday and next wed interview is for my dream job, basically working with kids who have had a crap start been in foster and care homes with difficulties in all areas.... this is something i have ALWAYS wanted to get into but kind of put it on the back burner while dd was growing up, BUT it will be shifts all over the place with sleep ins and not regular hours... this will mean a hell of a lot of disorganisation for my dd and my parents lending a big hand. BF will help out as much as he can but as he is a contractor sometimes he works away or works long shifts
