  • thank you beanielou and SW....I know what you mean baby steps. You are right of course and I think alot of my frustration is cos im soooo impatient!!!

In the new year I am going to start saving for other things like I did at the beginning of this year, ie, xmas, insurances etc (went pear shaped tho as I ended up bailing OH out with his arrears on the cc's:mad:, not doing THAT again!).

And I am also going to get off my butt and do some mystery shops I am registered and I do get offers, I just dont do them:o at least that will bring me a bit of extra money.

And like my previous post, my main focus is my ebay business! and keeping spending down to a minimum especially with regards to food etc. (bad in that department!)

This may well be my last post for 2010, so I would like to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year. Lets hope 2011 brings me better luck!

  • Hi guys,

Sorry I havent been on for a while. Well, time for an update I guess.

My cooking from scratch and baking anything has completely gone out of the window. Im so depressed all the time and constantly ill. We have had 2 deaths in the family now and I feel totally lost. OH hasnt been too bad, although the money situation, I feel, is still out of control.

Yes, the DMP is going great for which I am thankful for.....and thank god I opened my own current account when I did.......BUT, since October last year we could have saved soooooo much money and I let things go:( OH was due a bonus last month, the company are holding the money so dont know when we will get it, we had managed to save over £2,000 in another account but with things that have gone on, we are now down to just over £500 :(. Ive got no job and feel like ive got no life.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel though, as I have got a job interview coming up:) so wish me luck!!!!

I need to re-evaluate things and I so need a kick up the backside, not just with cooking, but with getting the house decluttered. I believe I could make quite a bit of money with whats in this house, there is stuff everywhere!!

So, this post has got some dark bits but some light bits to! my life just seems to be like a big rollercoaster ride! bizarre isnt it?

thank you all for posting, I appreciate you all asking after me. its good to know that you are all out there.

Hope you are all ok, I must remember to come back and update daily and not to let things slip. I know ive been here before, and I know ive said all this before........but I have to be honest, ive had enough and feeling sorry for myself all the time is not the answer anymore! im sick and tired of feeling like im in the gutter, wallowing in self pity, I need motivation and I guess, the only one who can do that is me!!!

have a lovely day peeps, keep smiling, the future has to look bright!

So glad you are back. So many people will want to hear from you. Everyone was worried.

Keep posting on here so we can check you are looking after yourself. Dealing with bereavement is physically and mentally draining make sure you try to eat properly if you can.

Fingers crossed on the job front.

  • well, ive had an awful weekend. our savings are now down to just over £100:eek::eek: due to some bad luck. I will just make it through this week with what ive got in the cupboards before OH payday on 28th. we will be left just £28:eek:

This is the worst position we have been in, in a long time believe it or not. I so need to get ebaying and I am desperate for a job now. we need money like yesterday :(

I am going to have to do some serious baking this week, I could sit here and cry. Why do we keep on getting so much bad luck?? why, oh why cant something good happen for us for a change??

I want the sun to shine on me, but all I see is darkness :(
