well the thing is the latex would last longer than springs wouldn't they and they get creaky as they get older too, just think latex would have better longevity?

It's open coil springs that get creaky, not pocket springs.

A pocket sprung/latex mattress should last just as long as a latex only mattress if looked after.

So you don't recommend full latex mattresses at all? Do you only sell the combos?

No I sell both, but I think pocket sprung with a good layer of latex gives better support.

Hi, I'm hoping that Tim sees this post and will be able to advise me. I have been looking for a new bed for some time. I don't really know how much I need to spend to get a good quality one?
I have seen your previous posts advising that a lot of mattresses are made in Yorkshire so I thought I had found a good supplier with these beds. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160424059072&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130383467024&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT but looking further, I realised that they are only a seller. The manufacturer is Bed Master. Are they any good?
I shall continue to check them out but I've not seen any with foam on both sides so that I would be able to turn the mattress. I would appreciate any hints or tips although I know you are not allowed to make any reccomendations. TIA, Kaz.

I've been asked about Bedmasters before, but it is difficult to find any information about them except their address. Even their web site just goes to a blank page, so I'm wondering if they have gone bust. Their prices seem far too cheap to be quality beds. Or maybe if they have gone bust then they are being sold cheap because it is bankrupt stock.

There are two sided pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses out there, so you would just have to google it I'm afraid.

torn between the 2 latex topped la romantica options and a full latex such as these 2 from yanis mattresses.

the coolmax or the organic all seem to be pure natural latex but a lot cheaper than dunlopillo ones. anyone own a yanis?
