I went into fenwicks and tried some out, loved the dunlopillo diamond one, entirely latex though so now im confused as to whether i should go entirely latex rather than just topped pocket.

I sure you want memory foam? why? i think they make you hot and sweaty and are over rated. If you want to spend on qualit try to get a deal on a handmade bed with all natural materials. I have a vi spring which is wonderful, I got it in Jlewis sale, a display model. its pocket sprung too.

It's just a pocket sprung mattress, that doesn't contain latex.

The OP actually wanted latex (which is a natural product), and is far cooler than memory foam.

Have you actually tried a good quality memory foam mattress? A good design one with full size steel pocket springs, and a 2" layer of memory foam, shouldn't be hot and sweaty at all (especially if it has a climate control fabric.

I actually used to own a Vi-Spring bed (which was given to me, as I would never be able to afford one). To be honest it was nothing special, but they are very very over priced. I actually replaced my Vi-Spring with an open coil sprung orthopaedic mattress, which I found much more comfortable.

yes i still do want latex but i don't know whether to go for all latex instead of just topped, the dunlopillo diamond i tried in fenwicks seemed comfortable if a little expensive, is a full latex mattress better than a pocket sprung latex one? my mum gets her new mattress delivered tomorrow i think i am going to go have a nap on it to try it out.

The best support would come from the combination of pocket springs with latex (as long as the mattress contains enough latex, as many don't).

No it isn't all latex foam. From what I can work out it is mainly reflex foam, with some memory foam, and then just has small areas of latex foam.
