    Ohmigawd, where is everybody???

This post hasn't been added to since 9 something this morning. Are you all at the pub????

Please please please share with everyone what you have done, it really helps to keep interest and motivation alive!!

Moggins...where are you Dearie? I hope you don't mind I nagged on your behalf, but you are so much better at it than me!

Hi, Snowy, and Moggins, if you're secretyl watching! :rotfl:

Mr Penguin phoned and invited us to the pictures last night, so didn't post again yesterday.

Here at Penguin Towers, we're doing OK at Flying. I cleaned kitchen floor, including Stardrops on skirting boards. Sink is shiny. DD cleaned the hob-top kettle with Astonish, then shone that with stardrops. Cleaned oven and microwave.

We're having a long weekend camping as of tomorrow, so won't be back for a few days. Let's hope the untidy sprites won't be in while we're away

So. today - clearing rest of laundry from holiday
    packing for the weekend
bake cake for weekend - done
    Welsh cakes for weekend
clean downstairs bathroom - sink, window, floor
pile of stuff to list on Freecycle - will give time for replies to come in to respond to next week
    ironing
    hoover hallway

  • Snowy, I would have loved to have done some flylady today, but I had a wee problem with some wriggly white visitors (in my dustbin!!)
It was quite horrendous, and took forever to deal with! I really hope to get something done tomorrow, anything will be better than today!!

Hi, churchmouse! Something tells me you'll be taking a while to get over your trauma! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You need to keep hens. :D When this happened to me, I took the bin and its lid down to mine - problem gone in no time!

Well, I succeeded in retidying the kitchen, cleaning the microwave and windowsills, seriously scrubbing the bathroom and doing some papaerwork, but the curtains stayed strangely untouched. I am taking the dogs for a walk now so the house will have to wait.

I wish the sun would come out, I have tons of laundry queuing for the line :-(

    Good luck Flying today!

I am not setting myself any new targets today, partly coz i am really tired, and i think the general day to day duties will be more than sufficient to keep me`challenged`. I did do my whole house floors yesterday, washing, cleaned loos and bathroom etc. Also went and did my friends house who is away on holiday.Might try to think of somewhere to take the children this afternoon and then if i have any energy left i might do an evening 27 fling boogy.will report back later/tomorrow.

Hi everybody! I am keeping this short and sweet because the big long detailed post I created was lost when MSE decided to chuck me out! So, I'll condense all the personal acknowledgements into one phrase:

!!CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE DOING GREAT AND KEEP GOING!!

Our water supply was cut off today - don't know if it's back on, am not silly enough to run the tap to find out. Therefore all forms of washing including dishy, washing machine, sink, car, and myself:o are out of bounds until I find out from a neighbour if the water supply has been restored.

See you all later, am off before I get booted out again. Hopefully there will be lots of progress reports when I come back.

    Bye!

    Evening everyone

Sorry I'm lax on the nagging but my flying is consisting of flying from one amusement to another at the moment.

Well done everyone, keep going you are doing great. Just three more days to go, set yourself a room, just one room and concentrate on that, don't forget whizzing from job to job is just going to distract you and lead you into doing things that should be waiting for tomorrow.

And please don't worry if you don't get it all accomplished, next month there will be a serious, get down to it, moggins on your back leading by example Flying Challenge!

:eek: regards next month's "serious, get down ot it, moggins on your back leading by example Flying Challenge" :D:D Looking forward to it really! I'll be on lots of overtime by then though - at least two nights a week, and I'll be doing a college course too, so flylady will probably by flying right out the window during the week.

I just wanted to add to Moggins' advice regards concentrating on one room at a time. That is very good advice, it really helps you to stay focussed. To deal with things which don't belong in the room you are working on, have a box or bag handy and put things which need to be relocated into that. Then when you've finished flyladying for the day just walk round with the box/bag and put things into the correct room. They don't even have to be put away (unless it's a perfectly tidy room of course!).

Moggins, I'm glad you're enjoying your summer, it sounds like you're having a great time with your LO.

I've done a miniscule amount tonight, am so tired. Will do a heap of paperwork once I've finished this evening's tour of MSE.

Managed to tody out the ds's lego box today! DS1 helped and earned a couple of quid most of it found in the box itself whilst Ds2 watched telly and refused to help! never mind its done now!

I have made myself a daily FLYing list! I put 5 things on it each day (remember - baby steps!) and put it on the fridge, i have cut n pasted FLYladies pic onto it and also a bit saying what I have achieved this week!!! to cheer me up if I seem to be failing so far this week as well as tackling a few hotspots and cleaning kitchen I have been getting to grips with things like paying bills!

Hope I can keep it up the house is so tidy!!
