My DH did a fry up for his tea, my once nice tidy kitchen is now my task for tomorrow :(

At least he cooked for himself!

Or an alternative viewpoint...nag nag nag until he cleans up after himself:D!

Finished the bathroom - it's just me, so I don't have icky men to clean up after (if you know what I mean:o!!), and it was generally just a bit dusty/grubby around the shower and wash-hand basin. You can really tell that it was cleaned properly not that long ago. So the first challenge has definitely saved me time on this second challenge. If I do more swishing as I go along it should never get grubby again....and that, I believe, is the "magic" of flylady!

I did a 15-minute blessing on my Dining Room. I can now see the table. DS's keyboard had been there for months and it took up a lot of the dining table so clutter just seemed to accumulate around it. I set the timer for 15 minutes and scurried around trying to sort out the room. It looks much better now but it isn't finished, but babysteps to start with, that is what it is all about.

Off to shine my sink now. See you all tomorrow.

Clean up after himself?? That would mean a miracle (he's skived off to work now).

He ignored all the ready meals I got in for him and the steam veg he only had to put in the microwave, it's cholestrol city when I'm not here.

Tell him he can't put on too many pounds or he won't fit in the hole I've dug for him!!!!!

Looks like my arm/hand is improving so will most prob join you tomorrow - providing I can get up after this bout of insomnia.

Doing this challenge is so worthwhile - thanks to doing the last one I was able to tidy and clean both living room and kitchen this morning despite having ignored both rooms for nearly a week - so I firmly second what you say about the 'magic' of flylady Snowy (and you made out you'd done nowt last time!!!)

Ageandjo - rofl at your post. It's not flylady I need now, more the Tenna kind IYKWIM :o

    kitchen duty:
    wipe cupboard fronts; Done
pull out appliances and wash floors under and behind them. Done

    House moving things to do
    Phone re house insurance; Done
Phone regarding how far in advance we are paying the rent so we can stop that in time. Done
Check house as vinyl and wooden floors are supposed to be getting laid tomorrow. No flooring in, but painting nearly finished and showers ready to go in

    General
While on phone to insurance sort out 3rd party for sons car; Turns out the car is classed as 'too high performance' and they won't insure him. (Just quietly I'm quite happy about that - I thought it was too sporty too!)

Also cleaned bathroom window surrounds etc while curtain was down for washing.
Will do a boogie tonight in OHs clothes drawers

    27 items?
    OH,toddler1, toddler2, stepson1, stepson2, dog1, dog2, cat1, cat2, fish1, fish2 ......instantly tidier and no icky mess to clean up .
15 minutes of fantasy over and time for some real work.:o

Today I want to do the general 15 minute tidy to keep the ground floor reasonable, then I want to try and get an hour cleaning out the storage in the eaves. Not as easy as it sounds with two little helpers.

Thanks for starting this up again, it does help to know others are suffering, sorry I mean to have the encouragement.
