Comet have a 28 day trial on all Dysons at the mo.

I'd agree on both good results and poor build quality - but ask me again next month this time!

Don't know about their vacuums but Miele washing machines are terrific.

I have a Miele washing machine & tumble dryer. So pleased with them that I the purchased the Miele vaccum cleaner ;D ;D - can't praise their stuff enough even though the prices are high. Local shop priced matched the w/m & t/d but bought the cleaner via internet.
  • I bought the Miele S571 based on the highest score in the which tests. I got it for £119 in John Lewis with a 2 yr guarantee.

Very happy with it, it's very high quality. I've used a dyson in the past and it's so heavy to lug around and the suction is the same as Miele.

Certainly recommend it, a lot cheaper than the Dyson and just as good if not better.
    Sense is not common.

    Hi everyone

Has anyone got any experience of the miele vacuum?
I've currently got a dyson which needs replacing (havn't been that impressed as bits started breaking off after only 1 year) and am thinking of trying the miele range. Need a good vacuum - dogs, cats & children!

    Any advice much appreciated.

My mother in law has 1no miele and 7no cats and swears by the machine as being a marvel of modern science.

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

We got a Miele vac about 10 years ago from John Lewis and it's still going strong and showing no signs of age or deterioration.
