    Late again to-night.

Hugs to all especially Diva and Ladygrim.

Taplady, hope that your babies come home.

Another beautiful day here, little cooler but I can take that when its combined with the sun and blue skies.

Had to update prescriptions this morning so doctor at 9.15 (got out at 10.45), then my knitting group, our favourite Chinese for Monday lunch was closed so we ended up with pub grub....ok, but not the same as Chinese. Was exhausted by the time we got home at 3.30.

Everything in the garden seems to be taking off now that things have warmed a bit, more onions and various lettuces gone in to-day....OH doesn't understand the concept of a pinch of seed, so we will no doubt have enough salady stuff to feed the parish! Have been including ground elder leaves in our salads, gives them a different dimension and what OH doesn't know won't hurt him.

Knitting a tea cosy for DD4 at present, hope to finish it so that I can give it to her when she collects DGS2 to-morrow although as I went a bit mad this morning and made an appointment to have my eyebrows waxed to-morrow and have them and my eyelashes tinted won't have enough time at home to do muc...had my eybrows threaded in London in December and it was a great job but can't find anyone local to do it....need something to perk me up a bit, starting to look my age!

    Welcome to newbies.

    Hiya

Haven't had time to read the thread for a few days :( Will try and catch up in the morning when my eyes can focus on the screen long enough without watering because they are sooooo tired :o

OS wise today, I have scrubbed the carpets, had a tidy in the living room and cooked a carrot curry ... strange but true :p

I have to wait in for a delivery tomorrow so will be OSing ... I plan to ...
    - make jam tarts
    - sort washing out and put it all away
    - make a bereavement card for my friend who has just lost her Nan :'(
    - ice cakes
    - sort paperwork
    - move £'s from c/c to current a/c to clear od

I don't know what to do about growing veg this year. I haven't even planted my seeds or spuds yet :o I haven't got a clue where to plant them tbh as last year I had a veg patch, but I'm hoping to have that area slabbed in a couple of weeks time and the whole garden rearranged with an area play barked.

Anyway - rambling over for now as it's just turned in to a to-do list and a bit of blurb lol

Hope everyone gets a good nights sleep and bit :grouphug: to those who want/need them.

    Luv Jx

Not long back from picking up the tribe from O2 They all had a good time apart from one of my DGS Jack who said it was too loud and he got very frightened. His Dad, bless him took him outside the arena and sat with him whilst the other boys and DD watched the WWW.RAW wrestling. My SIL is so patient with the boys even though they had paid a fortune for the tickets he wouldn't let Jack be scared or frightened of the noise.Poor Jack he is so down bless him about his Dad not seeing the show.I dropped them off and went to see my other DD's inlaws.I had a lovely dinner there and we sat and chatted for ages and the time just flew by. They are a lovely couple, and big Frank has his first check-up tomorrow after his heart attack a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed for him I am off to london tomorrow with eldest DD to see the Jersey Boys and have a 'ladies wot lunch 'day with her.I had another dealer round this morning and managed to get £50 for some of my vinyl l.p.s and two boxes of singles so I'm quite pleased as they were going to the tip if they hadn't gone today.I still have about 4-500 LP.s left but DD said after my holiday she will help me do an indoor boot fair and we hopefully can shift some more of them, then what's left will perhaps go to a charity shop or failing that the tip.I have decided they have got to go as I need the room .
Right I'm off to bed for a read and some sleep
night night God Bless all here
