An absolutely beautiful day here. we packed a picnic and went to the local botanical gardens - we were there for 4 hours doing an Easter chick hunt and playing animal races (children have to pretend to be various animals including making the noises) The boys are now playing in the sand pit with their dinosaurs. We've had a lovely day, I'm not sure what is for tea I think it might be risotto. I'm trying to empty my freezer, but every time it starts to get low I find a load of reduced meat and ends up fuller than ever!

HUGS to all that need them

    Good Afternoon

    Many Happy Returns Benthosboy:beer:

(((hugs))) Diva, Ladygrim & anyone else who needs one.

Just got back from Chessington World of Adventures. We had lovely weather, it was busy but the kids got on all the rides they wanted. Hotel was nice, the only downside was the meal last night - not so good. Am now completely shattered and think I will jump in the bath.

Cold is much better now :j, will chill this evening and then get on tomorrow.

Our driver is coming in tonight to go out in the lorry with my OH. Also police phoned whilst at Chessington (I had to explain about all the screaming in the background!) and our lorry will be looked at Friday, so hopefully everything can start getting back to normal now.

Tired-Mum, hope you got on alright with the police today.x

    evening!

been busy today but have virtually done all the painting in DS1s room:j have also moved DS2s stuff in there so I can start his room - its absolutely dire in his room! he likes the newly painted room so may stop in there and Ds1 can have the bigger room when he moves back home.

BargainBird - we had a terrible afternoon with the baby pigeons, they were attacked 3 times by sparrowhawk in our garden!:mad: DH rescued one from its clutches but they all scattered - still got 3 missing tonight and the others are petrified!

not a lot else to report. Back to work tomorrow for me and DH. x

Dolphin update: Got 5 Dolphins fairly close to shore, but further out than I expected, still it was nice to see them, and a really nice picnic with DD.

Beautiful sunny day but it has now turned grey and drizzly but soon be bed time time anyway.

Hope everyone has a good day.

thanks, poor things have not long learned to fly. They do however have a stamp on their wings with our name and number in case they go to another fanciers loft or are found by a non-flyer so there's still hope.

Good grief, just dipped my oil tank, and with all the recent bad weather and having heating on was amazed how much I had used, so decided to do a top up of 500ltrs to see me thru (usually do 1000 but not enough credit in my account with oil company :()

    £298.73 :eek::eek::eek:

Heating is now most definately OFF for season :) now where are my thermals?

    Grumble, grumble grumble!!

I am in your neck of the woods and there is a company called Heating Oil scotland - just do a search and when I asked for a quote for 500 Litres just now it came up with £247.28 which is considerably cheaper than yours - give it a try and complain like mad to your ex company!!!
Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j
