Morning All ,
MSD - hope you're doing ok xx
tiredmum - good luck with the police today
Hester - you're a saint :A I wouldn't be up and cooking for DH at 5:30 at all, let alone a full English!!
This weekend seems to have flown by! Gave in to my inner rowdiness and went to football with DH and my BIL on Sat. We had a really good day but lostwhich was a real shame as the ticket for DH was a birthday present from my BIL!
Both DH and I felt a bit off on Sunday, so I halfheartedly did a load of washing and managed to get it dry on the line, but I spent the afternoon reading through my Pauper's cookbook (as I now have a modicum of enthusiasm so fancy cooking again :T) and watched Ashes to Ashes on catch up TV! Gene Hunt ladies?!?! Yes please :blushing::drool:
OS today, need to wash my other load and iron the load from yesterday. Predictably, tea will be bubble and squeak as it's Monday (boring aren't I?)
Have a lovely day, fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine, hugs to all in need/want xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Plans for me today are
washing/ironing
finish last bit of painting in DSs room - so glad when its all done!
wash my new car(cant have it looking dirty:D)

Diva - hope you're feeling better x
PP - (((hugs))) any news on how she's doing?

Morning Everyone
Cloudy, chilly and windy here today but the forecast says that it will brighten up and get warmer later
Have a mind to do some baking today - didn't have much of a chance over the weekend apart from making a couple of loaves of bread.
Woke up sneezing my head off bloomin' pollenbut had an antihistimine and now starting to feel it working.
Had a bad night with my right knee - had a nightmare last night and must have jumped or something in my sleep the pain of my knee woke me up and cos I screamed so loud DH came running downstairs to see if I was ok. Bless him he had to be at work at 7 this morning.
Needless to say can hardly move the right leg today and daren't take any tramadol cos that would be game over as far as baking goes.
Diva.......... I hope you are a bit better today ((((hugs))))
Tiredmum........ Hope the police can help you today ((((hugs))))
Stroppyjock.......Dolphin watching with a picnic - what a lovely way to spend a day:)

Morning All
I should re-name myself 'Bleary Eyed of Belfast' this morning. Stayed at friends until after 12 and drank more wine than I should of ....note to self *no more alocohol until fully fit*!
Didn't hear the bomb but DH did - he thought it was the nutty neighbour slamming her door and it was enough to wake DD.
I some MSing jobs to do when I get my act together - its been a challenge this morning just to get everyone ready that has to leave by half eight - two down, two nearly away. I was all set to be out for 9....before the wine last night :rotfl:
Still the weather looks like it will give us another glorious day...great excuse for sun-glasses!
I think if we pass the close enough to the lough today I might stop and let the sea air clear my head! Have a good day xClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Morning all – what a lovely weekend we had! Managed to get a fair amount of washing dried outside and spent some time yesterday morning tidying up the garden.
Most of the weekend was packing since the people we’ve bought the house from want a quick sale. The people moving into ours are first time buyers so they’ve understandably keen to get in too. Hopefully should be in our new home May / June if the solicitors are to be believed!
OS today – various LO’s in lunch boxes, plust some HM choc muffins. Another load of washing ready to go on the line, assuming it brightens up a bit. I need to go through my craft room and start packing non-essentials (non-essential craft stuff. That must be a contradiction in terms!). I’ve made birthday cards up to Mid-May birthdays. I want to get well into July before we move to make sure I’m covered!
Hugs to all,

Morning All!
Had a good weekend. Managed to get all the gardenrubbish down the tip. Two trips, but at least it's all gone now!
DD is having backache, only 2 weeks till baby is due, watch this space!
Just logged on to my Pigsback account, and found that I won yesterdays trivia quiz! :T 3000 piggypoints, worth £10! Pleased about that. With my last lot of points I got a £10 Waterstones voucher and bought my godaughter her birthday present for nothing. Well worth it!
DS has gone back to University. Only had him home for three days, but it was lovely to see him.:j
Lovely sunny day here. Going to the Charity shop to drop off a bag, then M & S to spend a £25 voucher that I got for recommending my cousin to Sharps Bedrooms. Need some new jeans. My NYDJ ones have finally given up the ghost after two years. Want another pair, but until I lose a stone, I'm not going to get any. It'll be my reward to myself. (They cost £100!)
(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) if you need them.
Hope everyone is okay.
I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Hope everyone has a good day.Sealed pot member 954:D

Morning all.................(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Another bright morning, but it feels a bit chilly just now. Load of coloureds in the washer, should be ready to hang out soon.
Monday clean, OH is at his last bowls social day this afternoon, next week they are bowling.
I am very sriff and sore this morning, despite all the digging I have been doing, yesterdays digging has affected my nuscles.
I am now going to moan about freecycle:
On Friday I put a large parlour palm on our local freecycle, I had several replies, so put the names in a hat and drew one. contacted the person and asked her to phone and let me know when she was coming to collect..........no phone call, waited all Saturday....nothing, so after supper emailed again, I got the weirest email back, she could not phone me as her parrot had chewed her phone!!! but could she collect yesterday....fine..............sent instructions how to get to us waited all day.........no collection, so last night I emailed her again and said that as she had not contacted me to say she would not be collecting I was going to let the second person I drew have the plant. I fired off a note to the admin asking for them to remind people if they changed ther minds about what was offered to let the donor know, the idiots published it as a message from me instead of an offical message, this morning I have had a stream of emails castigating me for giving the plant to someone else........sorry but its my decision....the first person did not have the good manners to let me know she had changed her mind....so I was free to gift it to someone else.
This is not the first time this has happened, so I have decided that I will no longer offer things through freecycle, but if they are portable I will take them to the charity shop and any plants will go in the bin.........
Its a shame as often something you no longer need can often be exactly what someone else can use, but I feel justified in my decision. If the second person does not turn up today the plant will go in the bin with the garden rubbish.
Rant over....sorry but things like that make me so cross.
I am a bit concerned about DGD her mum emailed last night to say that DGD was suffering from self induced high blood pressure, at 16 that is not good news, she is very highly strung and does get into a fankle about things; before her exams last year she was off school with what her mum thought was migraine, as all the girls in the family have had migraine and her mum being the worst sufferer I suppose it was a natural assumption......however it appears the headaches are from high blood pressure, so she is on medication and has to use a BP monitor for a week every 6 weeks..........not good news.....especially as she is about to go to 6th form college in the autumn prior to going to university. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
