Although I was working so didn't get to see as much as I'd of liked, I still loved it! Although it took me a few days of recovering to realise I loved it!

My advice is no matter how little you think you pack, you can probably half it! I thought I'd done so well, but when it came to quing for a few hours at Castle Cary, and then the walk from the gate to camping I realised I really didn't need most of it!
-A tent
-Sleeping bag
-Roll Mat (one of the self inflating ones!)
-change of pants and socks
-a hat
-baby wipes! These can double as toilet roll!
-a jumper
-a book, you need some chill out time!
Take a travel towel if you really can't survive without a shower, and leave the make up at home girls! There's much better things to do than spend hours putting your foundation on for it to slide down your face after too much sun! Everyone looks as rough as each other so just go with it!
I was lucky enough to get food provided by who I was working for, saved me alot of money and effort! It was also a fun and safe way to do the festival.
I didn't find getting there too bad, but if I was to do it again I'd do the National Express Coaches, it would of saved me hours. I caught the train but the que for the shuttle buses was mad! I left at 6:30 monday morning and didn't get on a train till 10 which was fast compared to alot of people!
But I'd certainly never drive! I left half an hour before my friend who was driving down and got there an hour before her!:rotfl::EasterBun0 -
Can I say a bleated thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread? DS got through the whole thing unscathed and is already planning next year's trip. I'm a proud Mum (and I'm going next year too, but don't tell him!).******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0
