What I do is slosh the contents of the mop bucket in and swoosh it round - sometime I use the brush if it needs a wash. Then I leave it upside down to dry. Mind you I am fussy about keeping it clean and pack rubbish carefully...
I have decluttered some lunch and done the ironing.
And realised my NDN has a trailer...and since I did his family a favour last week (a mate of DS's found a mobile which turned out to belong to NDN's brothers partner and I made sure they got it back) I might be in luck re the sofa clearing!
realised NDN was out on the front so I asked if I could ask for a favour - he said no- (paramedics have senses of humour!) but has said, with the help of DS that he will take the sofas down to Stonegravels
on Thursday or Friday *FLING* *FLING* for nothing - nada - zilch
(Bet some beers drop into my trolley sometime this week;))
And DD is helping too - she has covered the microwave turntable with custard so that's in the sink, soaking! :rotfl:Kitchen here I come!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

MONDAY DONE STAR PLEASE
DH has rung. My car has passed its MOT. I can't tell you how relieved/surprised we are. I was envisioning ebaying the children to pay for it. In a year it will be old enough for the expired scrappage scheme. It takes alot of punishment with my brood, I will gratefully clean it now to thank the lump of metal that makes my life a bit smoother.0 -
