    Washing up done
    lunch for DS2&3 done

Just realised I have to take DS1 to a cricket thing tonight (it was arranged before I knew DH was away) and I have rearranged the hairdresser to come to cut his hair tonight. Need to see if he has made it out of the shower as to which one I am cancelling.

BEEN ON THE PHONE TO THE COUNCIL - ARRANGED COLLECTION OF TWO CLAPPED OUT SOFAS AT A COST OF £17.00.... then SHE TELLS ME IT WILL BE anytime 10 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT - APPARENTLY THEY CANNOT GIVE A DAY rolleye0010.gif And I can't 'just add' three more items to be dumped - they have to be listed
(oops sorry caps) anyway I then said that was no good as I don't want them cleared before Thursday so I have cancelled collection. means I will have to put up with sofas on the front for up to a fortnight after Thurs rolleye0010.gif
so I might just get a sledgehammer and break them up myself then they'll fit in the car...

We did exactly the same when our sofa had to go. It's amazing what you find when you saw it up!! Very dusty job, but very satisfying to have it out of the way, not wait for council to deign to turn up!!:D
