Bleeping heck....it's amazing what I can achieve in half an hour when I put my mind to it.......

    Washed dishes.
    Made bed.
    Damp dusted our bedroom.
Cleaned mirrors and window in bedroom.
Fiddled with main bathroom toilet as it isn't flushing properly - it's still not flushing properly. :(
Let man in to read the electricity meter.
Opened post - free dig in seeds arrived.
Opened greenhouse door as temp is over 30 degrees.
Made a cup of coffee which I'm now going to enjoy. :D

    Pink
    Blimey ...thats a lot
I managed to mark one A level essay and have loads more to do.
Think I'll get the kitchen finished before I do any more and then I can at least get my star for today
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    Hello Flyers

Here we are, start of another week.

Thanks, as ever, to Flylady Central Command for helping me keep the Wolf's Lair livable.

I've grabbed my list for today, but unsure how much I'll get done - I may need to play catch-up later this week. Reason is, Pip and Pandora will be going home lunchtime tomorrow, so I want to make the most of the time I have left with them.:)

Hippo Bathday Msgnomey; have a great day!

Macpep ouch, ouchy ouch re the toe. I can sympathise; I'm forever catching both my little toes on various things round the bungalow

Passthewine if you're "gobby" (your word!):o maybe you'll balance out the fact that I often start a post, then think "nah, no-one's gonna be interested in that" and delete it again.:o

OK, do I play Tug Toy with Pip, or clean the kitchen sink...... hmmm......:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Afternoon all

So glad it's a kitchen day today - ours is not looking good due to missing as few weeks what with one thing or another! Can't wait to get home from work and begin - i'll be up for a HHC at around 18:00 - 18:30 so an advance warning to anyone interested!!

Polkadot I wasn't keen on Angelas Ashes either but loved Tis the follow on to it so don't dismiss reading it if you have a copy!

Dustykitten I thought about you last week (but forgot to mention until now) I saw a family on the tram - young boy plastered up from wrist to shoulder - made me think about your DS - hope he is doing well!

Toots Glad to see you posting your mammoth replies yet - often easier to catch up on Fred reading those when you only have a short while to read :p
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

I am in to update (trying to limit myself to checking my threads as I spend all day on here otherwise).

I am in the process of re-writing my opening statement/introduction as the first attempt could have been written better by a five year old. I am only part way through and have already added 200 words to my target so a fifth of the way there. I want my intro to be at least 500 words so I need to at least another 200 although more will be better. I read it out to OH and he asked why I wasn't beaming, I must be too much of a perfectionist as I am not happy with it yet but I feel so much better that I am finally writing again.

I need lunch and a break now, then on with finishing the opening and then introducing my first section.

I can do this I can do this I can do this
