I have just had a look at the lone parent needing help discussion and I think we might be frightening him. Talk of matching pegs etc!!! Couldn't he be led gently....to flying, valli?

Talking of pegs DH keeps on putting the washing on the line in a haphazard fashion. Any old colour pegs, not matching...

DH and I have done loads of sorting in the gardens and barn this weekend. I have to admit my sorting is to offer advice, point, make tea.

grateful I love the mirror but ouch, it is expensive.

Hi soappie, Best of luck with the writing next week.

AnWsmum I hope the fascia fixing goes well and is not too disruptive.

Hi toots, I hope things are going okay for you.

Oh, I meant to ask - any news of Frodders - is she still stuck in Belfast?

Had a text from my sis this morning. Her and BiL were in Cyprus last week and due to come back friday. Apparently, they have managed to get as far as Croatia by this morning and were trying to get home from there by train

:hello: msgnomey, thifty, vivw, MrsChaos, gratefulfor help, valli - have I missed anyone out?? Me too, struggling hard to get things sorted for tomorrow. I've been doing bits on and off since Wednesday, and still haven't a coherent plan for tomorrow... and I do teach part time! Full day tomorrow, no frees and a meeting after. Oh joy. Roll on Tuesday.

I did take all of the first week completely off, refusing even to allow the word school to enter my head, and then with the better weather tempting me out to play in the garden, I can't get motivated!

I had to do coffees after church this morning, which I could have done without. I worked first thing, then just after lunch. I wasn't going to miss all the sunshine, so planted out my newly cleared bit of border. There are still a lot of gaps - may need anothe trip to a nursery;).

Must get back work and finish off the last few bits.

Hugs to toots, lady-liberty, and diva.
