Hi all
I have had quite a productive weekend, not a lot of flying but a lot of moving (DH) sorting and flinging. We now have a room for the baby with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2xbookshelves, small sofa and moses basket in. Only the moses basket is something we didn't already own and that was £12 second hand. The stuff from the study has been relocated into the bigger spare room and organised, looks good in there - single spare bed coming next Monday. Cotbed which friends are giving us can go in soon (someone on here kindly offered me a cot last week I'm so sorry I can't remember who, we've been given a cotbed which is fab but thanks so much! Now just need bedding and mattress. set of vests, babygros etc from ebay came yesterday and are in perfect condition, 20 for £6.65 including postage, can't go wrong.
2 black bags of rubbish flung
box of paper recycled
3 bags waiting to go to charity shop
Our bed stripped and washed (dare I admit it has been 3 weeks ), windows open to air the room. New shower curtain to be put up once i've given the tiles a good scrub, and kitchen was blitzed last night. One more load of washing in the machine now.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hello folks.
Quite a productive day yesterday - decluttered £15.70 at the F&V market:eek:, shifted a couple of big bucketloads of weeds out of the back garden, tidied up the greenhouse (it's just one of those little ones with a plastic zip-up cover over a metal frame) and potted on my tomato plants.
Mr LW has today cleaned the carp out of the gutters, as well as the tasks he always does on a Sunday, and I've spent most of the day trying to declutter a migraine.:(
Out this evening to the monthly Moot, so I'll finally get rid of the carrier bag full of surplus candleholders, to the bring'n'buy table. Should've done it last month, but I wasn't well enough to go.
I hope everyone's having a lovely weekend - weather here in Concrete Cow Country is lovely! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
pigpen - do you have an easy baby pattern? I'm not a great knitter but fancy trying something myself!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
