Ohhh, sorry tallyho, didnt think to put why lol, so woolies offering of products look bigger, nd they take a cut of the profit, or money from the deal set up, woolies and comet, used to be part of the kingfisher group so have a long standing relationship still, employees get discount at comet too, its good business sense, to increase profits and attract new customers...make sense, most of the time there wont be problems with deliveries, unfortunately like this time its all gone wrong! agreed, crap website for updating stock levels tho and thats where the problems occur when they do, delivery is fantastic when the products are there, as is proving with the instore collection feedback, workin in store gives you an insight into how quick most things do get delivered!

Even if I am the only one to say this, I will say (and click) thanks for telling us all about it. Guys, if the delivery is screwed up, go to the shop!

The only thing is, they don't have the only CD I really want at the moment - Lost Prophets - Liberation Transmission :)

Why not just have a stock level counter online that diminishes as goods are bought !

....people ...people calm down! This is grabbit board...your opinions would be more suited on DT...!!!!!
  • they wouldnt do that, as then you will go somewhere else. if you dont find what you want in a store, ask a member of staff to phone another local store for you, if your prepared to travel to that store. they will hold the item for a maximum of 24 hours.

I'd go somewhere else for good if I ordered something that was never going to arrive ! Its really quite simple , you have an amount of goods , you advertise that amount , you sell that amount , you have achieved your goal . If you know that the demand is there you get more of them in . You are happy because you've sold it all , customers are happy , they tell others of the good service , people go shopping with you .

in a sense tallyho has a point, woolies is meant to be about its service, which there trying to get big on, and they have some amazing staff instores! who will go all out to help you. Its worse to tell a customer that they have to had there order cancelled, and face them not coming back for life, than to tell them you are definately sold out, maybe send them elsewhere, but they will return in the future...

i know what im tryin to say lol, hope its makin sense

Yes , the staff are 99.9% superb , so much so I married a Woolies girl ! In this day & age , give good service , you get your customers rollin' in . Give bad service & its over the web like a rash & you'll never recover .

If all these analysts actually listened to customer feedback they would be amazed at how much common sense is worth !

I never go in Woolies now after they messed me about with a phone I ordered from them. Their special offers are a waste of time & energy.
