If you have no control over the website then why are you pointing people to it in your first posting ?0

Here is how internet shopping works :
You list what you have to sell , not what you might have to sell
You take the order & update the stock control so people won't be disappointed when they get the dreaded e-mail cancellation .
You contact the buyer when things go wrong & explain in a nice manner , people will understand .
You don't start cancelling items without explanation .
You don't take money when there is no intention of supplying the item & then just refund .
You don't make security checks , as a delay tactic , on people who have shopped there loads of times using the same creditcard .
Shall I go on & on !!
The only time I ever have trouble with poor customer relations is with the " established high street " retailers who try to go internet shopping with their outdated systems & outdated selling methods .0 -
Well Eternal certainly walked into that one, bet he didn't realise there were so many Woolworth haters out there! Surely the guy (or gal) was trying to do a good turn in the best spirit of MSE and it's forums? As they point out they are not responsible for the website or presumably Woolworths and it's customer services, so how about a bit of leeway for them.0

I am purely informing, as I cannot point people to the store that I work in.
As for 3 for 2 ending on Tuesday, as far as I know instore the offer is still on. However, if this has changed I apologise in advance.
As for your order for the PS2 games, were they ordered from the website?
If so I would recommend using the online contact system to speak to a colleague regarding your order.
You can do this by logging into your account on the website and following the instructions.
I only posted here as I thought I could help out. It seems however that I can't, and I apologise again if I have offended anyone.0 -
when i phoned my local store nemo was being sold for £5
Website site not worth the effort. My orders 1 nemo 1 incredibles was cancelled even though i was told on phone that incredibles was due in.bargain babe0 -
Eternal , unfortunately you are getting the backlash for your companies woeful shortcomings . If you are in a position of influence then how about telling the hierarchy that all they are doing is driving people away from the store as the customer relations / ordering system leaves a lot to be desired .
There is nothing more frustrating than when we have to chase them to get refunds or orders fulfilled .
I apologise for my ranting that seems to be towards you , nothing personal .0 -
