First, off I am a him not a her lol.

Anyway, the new system with regards to stock will work far better, and I can promise you that. As soon as a product is sold, suppliers are alerted and the stock will be replenished. This way, 99% of the residual stock in the stock room will disappear.

We have already started to make moves on this, and a large amount of Entertainment stock has gone back. We had over 50 pages of DVD/CD returns this week alone. A month or two down the line, the system will be a whole lot better.

It is extremely difficult to get hold of Garmin Sat Navs at the moment, due to us selling out as a company. I will however alert you as soon as the supplier sends us some more.

Whatever the issues with woolies are, no matter what amount of emails cancels etc you have had, and no matter how you think it 'should' be done, none of that is the OP's fault and I'm really taken back to see the backlash you've all shown on this thread.

Thank you to the OP, I'm likely to be popping into store in the next few days and will look out for the offers :)
  • Re: Comet @ Woolworths - Comet, Woolworths and Superdrug (I think) were demerged from the Kingfisher Group a year or two ago (B&Q being the largest company in the group). As they are all likely to still have common majority shareholders and historical links then it makes sense for them to enter into partnerships like Comet @ Woolworths.

I am a big fan of Woolies. I always go in there to stock up on kiddies pressies as they always seem to have deals on. I ordered Nemo and the Incredibles at £2 each and got them even though I typed in my CC details wrong and they emailed me 3 times so I could put it right - I was v slow to do so and wouldnt have blamed them if they had cancelled my order.

Thank you OP, I'm guessing you wont be asking to be nominated again but I hope you post some good deals!

I think we are being a bit hard on Woolies - they often have MEGA bargains in the entertainment section in store - I always go there on a Saturday morning and often pick up PC or PS2 games for a song.
And don't forget Woolies was one of those companies whose sales online were so screwed up that we got a Gamecube for next to nowt (tons of brownie points from the nieces for that one). See - crap online selling can work both ways sometimes!
My only real complaint is that their black plimsolls don't come in size 7 (adult) for my 10 year old giant of a son who needs them for primary school :D

Thanks Eternal for the post. I went into my local Woolworths today and bought 3 lovely kids music CD's for just £1.00 each. A very good deal indeed. You did everyone a favour by telling them about the deals on the go just to be moaned at from the word go. If it were me I would personally never post anything on this website! Some people are just never satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!
  • thanks eternal :A i for one actually like woolies and would be v.interested in offers you may be able to tip us off with.

maybe if people stopped their moaning for a minute about lack of stock on special offers they would realise that having someone on the team like you chances are we will get in there b4 joe blogs on the street and there would still be stock

come on guy's he a newbie aswell give the guy a break:mad:

Two pages so far and still no-one has bought anything, nor nominated anything that might be a good deal. This needs to be moved to somewhere else, the Grabbit board is not for this sort of discussion.
