Got booted out of woolworths yesterday because I had been walking the dog and took a slight detour to go there on the way back, picked up the dog (little one) and went to have a look at all these 'amazing offers' only to find they told me to leave because of the food, even though I was nowhere near it!

I ordered the MS Flight Simulator with woolies because it was cheap. They have accepted my order then I find today that my account order history has been annotated with "unavailable" but they are still selling the product at £43.99 It's about time consumers got the upper hand with these shysters and retailers were made to pay for their '!!!!-ups'!

I popped into my local Woolworths today and picked up a £3 copy of Serious Sam 2 for the PC and a selection of £1 kiddies books. Quite a bargain, I thought. I almost bought Project Snowblind for the PS2 (£5) but decided that keeping my marriage intact was more valuable :)
  • Glad some of you found this post useful.

With regards to floam, I believe it is extremely difficult to get hold of at the moment, and appears to be a strong seller currently.

It is difficult to know what will be recieved on deliveries, thus it is unlikely staff members will know, at least this is what I find within my store. It is likely that if it has indeed gone out of stock, then more will be on the way.

It would be wise to ask for a colleague to check in their stock room for the product, 9 times out of 10, they may find the odd product still in there.

I am at work tomorrow, so I will check for the latest offers. ;)

Thats why they have "No dogs but Guide Dogs" signs on the doors. You really cant blame them if you by your own choice ignore their "rules".

I always thought it was a matter of common sense not to take dogs into a shop. No signs needed really.

I don't think these rules are laid down by Woolworths, but rather by the Food Standards Agency and specifically the Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Maybe you can help me with this one : a couple of weeks ago me and my 2 kids spotted FLOAM in small pots
