Can you help with this one? I ordered a gameboy advance game on-line for my son - Pokemon Fire Red. It allowed me to place an order and I said I would pick it up in store. Ireceived a mail saying it would be in the store on 2 August. We went to the store to pick it up and it wasn't in. The man checked my details and rang customer services up and they said it would be in on Monday. I also ordered another for my other son for pick up the same time. I phoned yesterday to see if the games were in and they weren't. The website is still allowing for you to pay for the item but it is coming up unavailable in my order details. Very annoyed as I have paid for both games and nobody will tell me when I can expect them. Contacted the website but although they say will respond within 48 hours, last time it was 3 weeks before they got back to me.0

Thanks for this post Eternal, I saw this post as I was leaving this morning and knew I was passing Woolies later. I got a few cd's and dvd's then while browsing the rest of the store got 1.3kg tins of Quality Street for £5.99 each and big boxes of wine gums and jelly babies for £1.99. That's the Christmas shopping well and truely started. Thanks again!0

I received Finding Nemo today, for £2 what a bargain. No reliance should be placed on the above.0

Thanks for the OP - I am amazed at the backlash - unwarranted - that he has received. Unless he is the MD why are you having a go at him? Haven't you got anything better to do? I too am frustrated sometimes at online shopping but I wouldn't abuse an emplyee because of it. I want into Woolies yesterday and bought several dvds and cd for the kids and a quid each. I know someone who manages the toy department in my local woolies and he lets me know in good time when sales are coming up - i bought my daughter all of the Barbie and Pegagus stuff for Christmas last year at a fraction of the price. I also bought a load of christmas decs a few months ago (last years stock) - Christmas lights for 24 pence from a tenner - If the OP can point you all in the right direction you can grabbit it whilst you can - the whole point of this after all.0

Got booted out of woolworths yesterday because I had been walking the dog and took a slight detour to go there on the way back, picked up the dog (little one) and went to have a look at all these 'amazing offers' only to find they told me to leave because of the food, even though I was nowhere near it! :mad:0

I bought The Bravery's album for £2... not at all bad for that price.
tempted by the flaming lips album for £4 as well, though thats not such a bargain as its an old album.
(instore BTW, though the offers in the store seem identical to the web site).stay lucky!

Maybe you can help me with this one : a couple of weeks ago me and my 2 kids spotted FLOAM in small pots, all different colours on the shelf in our local Woolies. As they had already persuaded me to buy them loads of things (20 quids worth) I refused the request for Floam saying that they could buy it in a couple of days when they were out with their dad. Within 2 days all the FLoam had gone and I have been back nearly every day since to see if they have any more stock (on the advice of various members of staff who keep promising that they will get a delivery TOMORROW. It doesn't matter what day I ask its always tomorrow). I now have kids who are livid with me for being such a c**p mum and leaving them FLoamless forever. Do you think they will ever sell this again? I've looked on the website but couldn't find it there either.......
Thanks in advance (and yes I'll do the thanks button....):rotfl: :rotfl:
