my father in law is quite ill and needs a chair that will help him stand up. the salesman offered him a chair for 4 THOUSAND pound and would not leave. luckily my sis in law happened to call in at the time and made him leave as she saw that f i l was upset and confused. how does a chair cost 4 grand and i wonder , what would have happened if sis in law had not intervened.
father in law is quite accepting and will do anything for a quiet life , bless him , he wanted something to make his life better and i dont blame him .
if anyone can justify 4 grand for a chair then i will apologise and withdraw my comments. until then i will say
conning gits or worse cos cant swear on here

A very bad example of a salesman trying persuade a vunerable person into buying what was in effect a over priced chair.

Four grand for a chair.........when i was younger i remember seeing Jim'll fix it and he had a chair with loads of gidgets and gadgets,i will bet that the flaxen hair Jimmy or the Beeb did not pay four grand for it though.

Thank god your Sister in law was passing by at the time that the cretin was thinking he had just closed a good deal.

and i hope your Father in law gets better and stronger.
