slowlyfading wrote: »:hello: Keiss, nice to see you! Glad to see DS is thinking about uni - especially as the job situation at the moment is so dire
what is he thinking of doing? and what did you turn the bananas into?
DS2 wants to do something to do with sports coaching and conditioning. He doesn't seem to want to go far, three of the Uni/Colleges he's looking at are within 20 miles of home - so much for getting rid of him! :rotfl:
Watching Dame Edna with Will Young on Rob Brydon atm, so funny!!!
Off to sort out the last few boxes for tomorrow's car boot....didn't get much done during the day today, felt a bit rubbish. Still not feeling too great, but these boxes need to get done. DH has done quite a bit, but I really need to do some before heading for bed.
Have a good weekend, weather's due to be reasonable...for a change!

Ooh, banana and walnut loaves...
So, last night me and OH went to see the new planet of the apes movie which was goodI love going to the cinema, but we don't go that often.
We're off out for late breakfast this morning; just waiting for OH to get out of the shower and we'll be off! I'll try and be good, but at the same time, I could totally eat a full english
On the weight news, I've lost a lb this week. I'm a bit disappointed as I'd hoped for more, but it's better than gaining so I guess it's okay. I've got 4lbs to go til my first mini goal, so I'm determined to get there before the start of term. We're off to an engagement party tonight where there's a buffet, so I've got to be careful otherwise today could ruin everything!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Well, its the start of a new week and OH has gone back to work which he's not impressed about. I'm really tired today, didn't sleep well last night so I don't think I'll be doing much. We're looking after my parents dog, which means I need to walk him, but that'll get me out of the house and into the sunshine
To do today:
- walk the dog [x2]
- meal plan for the week
- check cupboards for ingredients
- go to Mr T's for food shopping
- take book back to the library and maybe get another one out
- check online banking
Food for Saturday was:
brunch - sausage sandwich
s - slice of tea loaf
t - bit of pork pie, 2 small egg mayo sarnies, some crisps and some pickled onions (buffet)
Sunday:
b - half a bacon sandwich
l - slice of tea loaf
t - roast chicken, sweet potato mash, 1 yorkie pud, cauliflower and carrots, slice of HM crumble.
So, eating hasn't been the best this weekend, so very much back on the band wagon todayI made apple crumble for the first time yesterday and was pleased with the result. Obviously, I had to taste it just to make sure
Ah well, here's to a good day.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Today I have had
b - skipped
l - egg and bacon wrap (253 cals) 25g tortillas (125 cals) - 378 cals
s - 3 jaffa cakes - 126 cals
t - veg stir fry with sauce and noodles (469 cals) yogurt (91 cals) - 560 cals
Total: 1064 cals.
I won't skip breakfast tomorrow, I didn't intend to today but then fell asleep on the sofa
I've just pottered around today, really not done much at all. Popped to the library and got 3 books out to read, plus had a NSD so it's been good money wiseI also had a look for some wedding shoes; saw some I liked so if I can't find any others, I may go back and get them!

Today has been such an expensive day, and it's not even over!
I had to have 4 new tyres on my car, which cost me £240 with wheel balancing and something else, then I needed petrol so that was another 50 quid. definitely a spend day.
Food today is:
b- half a cup of porridge, chai tea latte
l - cauliflower cheese, slice of tea loaf
t - we're off round to my oh's aunt and uncles house, so no idea!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Ouch to 4 new tyres SF, we had that just before we went on holiday, combined with a full service and other bits and pieces, it came to over £500!!:eek: It curtailed our holiday spending quite a bit, but it was good to see lots of family and friends while we were away
.
Tooth feeling a bit better today, trying that new toothpaste that is supposed to help with sensitive teeth too...the dentist suggested it last Monday, but I forgot to get some, managed to remember today while in town doing the food shop....it's expensive stuff mind you, but if it eases the pain, I won't mind.
Need to get the last of the conservatory washed down, then sanded, before starting with the staining and painting this weekend.
Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone, especially you SF

Definitely ouch to the tyres! Still, my little car is much nicer to drive now and I feel much safer, so a bonus I reckon
Feeling pretty rubbish today; my throat is really sore and I keep coughing/sneezing so have nothing planned for today. I need to take the dog out for a walk, so will venture out later and we need to pop to Mr T's for some food, but that's about it. The weather isn't that great here either, so I don't mind sitting on the sofa all day.
In weight news, I have stayed the same this week. We had 3 courses at oh's aunt and uncle's house last night, so I should probably be grateful that I haven't gained! I'm going to try really hard this week, so it would be nice to have lost a couple of lbs by Friday when I go back to workBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So, food today is:
b - skipped
l - pizza wrap (one small wrap with some pasata on, some mushrooms, capers and olives, and a sprinkling of cheese)
t - jacket potato with cheese and beans, slice of warm banana loaf with one scoop vanilla ice cream
It's not been the best day eating, but I've been feeling pretty rubbish and wanted some comfort food. I've been out for 3 walks today, and haven't even any snacks, so I'm not too worried about it. Tea was really yummy - not had a jacket pot in ages!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
