ryanair - diabolical. I demand compensation

My take om Ryan Air is that you pay a cheap and nasty price for a cheap and nasty service from cheap and nasty staff. Never has the expression 'you pay for what you get' held more true than with Ryan Air.
If you have nothing better to do with your life and have hours of time to waste and spend on chasing this up then you might get a couple of quid. If however you have a life and you actually value your time more than the average Ryan Air flight cost then forget about it.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -

Just look at the title of your post how arrogant do you sound?
"ryanair -Diabolical. I demand compensation"
Why do you demand it? Were you injuried? Did you suffer some form of horrible injurie because of neglect from the airline? Did the plane crash? Did you get food poisoning off the in flight food?
No you got delayed for 3 1/2 hours. Big woop. Annoying yes, could it have been avoided? We dont know it is upto the flight crew and the engineer to decided if it is safe to fly.
If this had happened to you 5 - 10 years ago you would not be demaning compensation because we did not have this stupid braindead culture of something small went wrong so I must be able to claim money off someone!!!!
As other posters have said on budget airlines we all know the food and drink is over priced so make sure you take your own when flying.
Have you ever watched airport? Have you seen all the stupid people turn up late/without documents/ whatever and argued with the checkin staff for ages about how they must be able to fly, blah blah blah. Do you sit there and think yes that person is right! If they turn up after checkin has closed they should be allowed on the flight? Or be able to fly without a passport or whatever?
No you see that its there own fault and they have to accept it. Ok in your situation it was the airline at fault but they have no controll over the aircraft brakes down. It is one of those things that happens.
The price you have to pay for cheap tickets is always going to be with customer service and all the other things that the more expensive companies give their customers for free.
Also just on a final note were you ever taught "I want dont get"?
let's be clear about this - any compensation is secondary. look at the anti-ryanair website for 20 minutes and examine the forum content. my complaint is mild compared to many posted. My flight cost >£100 -hardly a bargain. but let's say, for example I'd paid £1. does this mean I forfeit my entitlement to info when things go wrong? read my original post again - getting info was like pulling teeth. It appears that the stansted stop was purely for company convenience. no contingency plans. Oh, and stuff the customer.
there are minimum standards a passenger should expect from customer service, regardless of cost. this mickey mouse outfit is suitable for anyone who is prepared to be treated with contempt/ripped off when the company sees an opening due to operational difficulties of their own making or not (see site) or can take the chance of hours of avoidable delay.
taking your own food/drinks is forbidden.
I avoid reality/trash tv; besides I understand 'airline' centres on a different operator.
I don't phone 'claims for you' on the slightest pretext but I'd take great pleasure in screwing ryanair to the floor.
personal enrichment? nah. Set up an anti-compensation culture website and I'll make a donation.miladdo0 -
For God's sake stop moaning (not just the OP). I flew to Norway earlier this year for £10 including taxes...I can't even get a taxi to my own town centre for that on a friday night! Honestly some people want the world...they are cheap for a reason, and you can hardly expect to receive a first class service as a result. Anyone who dislikes Ryanair should simply stop using them, and should use their energy a little bit more constructively than waffling on on an anti-website.
Rant over. :rotfl:0 -
I guess it never crossed your mind to get some water from the WC, sink that is.more dollar$ than sense0

kai666 wrote:how is this money saving? Surely you saved money by going with Ryanair? Are BA planes any less likely to break down? Not in my experience. BA charter flights charge for drinks. It's not exclusive to the budget airlines
from one of your other posts, how did ryanair rip off? You paid your money, they got you home
If the cabin crew didn't tell you anything, how do you know so much aout the problems, and unavailale parts?
I would want compensation if they didn't fix the problem and took off, not the other way round
READ ALL MY OTHER POSTS FOR CLARIFICATION! HOW MUCH OF THE !!!!!!ATION FACTOR WOULD YOU BE PREPARED TO PUT UP WITH JUST TO SAVE £30! CHECK THE ANTI-RYAN WEBSITE. THIS SITE IS ABOUT GETTING THE BEST DEAL....................ISN'T IT?miladdo0 -
I've used Ryanair about a dozen times and have no complaints whatsoever...
Actually I tell a lie, their air hostesses can sometimes be a bit ropey, which is BLOODY OUTRAGEOUS. Honestly you save up for months, part with your money (£10 single to Oslo, £20 return to Dublin) and they don't even have the common courtesy to get some decent looking staff. Scandalous.
What's the name of that anti-Ryanair website again? :rolleyes:0 -

Thanks Ivan, I don't expect cavier with ryanair. I have time to reply to you but never again for this company. too bad I don't. If I did I'd have fun chasing Mr. O'Leary. Better things to do, of course, but this really is a case of 'caveat emptor'.miladdo0 -
