  • Hi Soo,

Well you haven't given any sellers to me!!

Just tried to alter a couple of mty listings and it seems Amazon are having one of their 'moments'. I can't edit any of my lsitings and they all show up as not available for sale - so that is really helpful isn't it!!!

  • One of their moments is it!!!! they just frightened the life out of me, I listed a box of books before brekkie (it's just about the only job you can do in your jimjams).
I went to have a look at one to check something and they aren't there in my open listings - after a minute of panic I checked one to see if it was up for sale ....... and it is, but the idea that I'd have to list them all over again was very scary.

Well done Soo on your sales yesterday - there is no rhyme or reason to any of this is there?

if the list of 1p books goes onto the next page then I don't list it because I don't think many people go past the first page of 25 books

I generally don't list at 1p... if I search for a book I have and it comes up at 1p I put it in the to-be-ebayed pile. That said, if a book is extremely light, I'm willing to put it in at 1p.

I have a vague theory that there may be some kind of rotation in effect. Several weeks ago, I listed a small, light book at 1p. I had three copies. Last week I sold two of those copies in the space of 36 hours. I figured my listing had finally come to the top....

    Something to think about.

I've sold 4 books this week from Greenmetrpolis this week. I'd only ever sold 1 before in the last 3 months.
Has anyone else noticed increased sales from them lately? They were all 1p books on amazon, which had loads of listings. I'm thinking about increasing my listings there.
