I listed 3 books this morning but they are still not showing on my open list. If I search for them buy title as if I was buying it then they are there but they aren't on my account page. Doesn't usually take this long.

Amazon seems to be working to time for me. Just before lunch I found that one of my books had been stored poorly and had a slight curve to it so stopped the listing, relisted it as good rather than very good and sold it in 40 minutes!

That will make up for the one book I sold yesterday that I can't find anywhere. I don't even recognise the cover photo and it certainly isn't in the storage box it should be in. I've refunded and grovelled to the buyer, so I really hope they are kind to me and don't neg me.

I've sold 4 books this week from Greenmetrpolis this week. I'd only ever sold 1 before in the last 3 months.
Has anyone else noticed increased sales from them lately? They were all 1p books on amazon, which had loads of listings. I'm thinking about increasing my listings there.

Yep! 7 sales this week from GM.

    Very happy FFM :)

Have you tried the Uni library? Mine sell paperbacks for 50p and hardbacks for £1, I have made a tidy profit on some of them.
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

  • I find my GM sales go in fits and starts - I sold 4 at the beginning of September and then nothing until this weekend when I sold another and then 2 more yesterday! That sounds like my quota for the month!!

Tweek_1984. I get alot of my books from charity shops, but am finding that the price at most is going up and up, so I have to be a little discerning on which shops I use and which books I purchase where - ie. a top 100 book I can afford to spend more on buying than a run of the mill one. The only thing I am adamant on now though is that they have GOT to be in really good condition or it's just not worth the effort!

I see Amazon still haven't got themselves sorted out - 2 books I listed this morning stil l ren't in my open listings - although they do appear on the Marketplace. Don't hold you breath for tomorrow folks as they've got some maintenance planned for tonight - aarrgh.
