I noticed yesterday that a bag of Walkers crisps is now 25g, I'm sure it used to be 28 or 30g.
Also Birds Eye fish fingers!! Yes there is still 8 fish fingers in a box, but have you seen how thin they are now?! They are literally like fingers!!!

DH has just come back from working in Japan and bought some snacks etc home for the kids. They were amazed at the amount of packaging and how few pieces you got in a pack. A pack of crisps was in a really thick foil type bag which was very difficult to open and inside were I kid you not 5 crisps. It took about as much energy to open the pack as you could consume from the snack inside. So there is a way to go in the downsizing yet!

Noticed the packs of what used to be 6 individual packets of Kettle crisps now only have five packets.

Fairy Liquid is now 433ML (was 450)

Noticed they had 2 different sizes on the shelf, and compared bottles side by side.
They looked identical, until my son said that one of them had less in it compared the the "450ML" bottle (I'm sure they were 500ML not long ago too)


Fabreze is now 450ML (was 500)

They had the 500ML as well, and the 450ML looked much smaller.

Just 2 more goods I will not buy anymore, these companies can k155 my ar53.


I'm amazed why people strike for 1/2% extra pay rise, and say nothing with a 10% reduction in goods.

I recently bought some Imperial Leather shower gel that was on offer for £1 to find that it has now become really thin and runny.

Macleans toothpaste also on offer for £1 is now really foamy.

I think manufacturers are cutting down on ingredients to compensate for funding special offers no doubt demanded by the supermarkets.

Packs of New York Bagels now contain 4 Bagels instead of 5.

I know Penguins have already been mentioned in this thread, but up till today I hadn't actually SEEN a new sized one... OMG they're tiny!!!! When did that happen?!
