No need to have a red face, now it's a"a holiday in the lakes with my grannies and cousins" which is altogether more fun for Boo, and although she'll have mega palpitations and probably a wee cry when she sees her mum again, you and your mother will have a fab memory, and DD will miss her so much, she'll wonder why she did it. So it's tough love really (but you'll have the best time out of you all!)
ETA Can I also just say to Flutterby that I want your job! It sounds so fulfilling, you describe it so attractively, I bet you are a real asset to your employers! :AIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

Sunnygirl ........Give Diva some (((((hugs))))) from me.
I hate bloomin' hospitals with a passion. They say when I have my knees done that I could be in for up to 3 weeks  So holding out for as long as I can.
It was bad enough being in last night and my ribs feel like someone has done the clog dance on them, but I am home, back on steroids and I have to use the nebuliser four times a day.
Haven't had an attack like that in a long time and yes they are scary!
Bargainbird........I hope all goes well tomorrow hun xx :grouphug:

I love watching my washing blowing on the line0

I've spent three days working in my garden and there are still plants to be moved, pulled up, and seeds to be sown I haven't started that yet! Maybe tomorrow...hoping for a semi lazy weekend, but I guess gardening counts as a bit of exercise! I put my washing out for the first time yesterday too, it's a lovely feeling to know that the snow has definitely gone gone gone for now!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

I1ve got a huge wild garden, I don`t mind about it mostly, because we put feeders out on the trees and the bird-life is fantastic, better than any tidy garden! The downside is when I can`t get to the washing line or the shed, or my redcurrant bushes - or even to fill the bird feeders, when suddenly we`ve got nettles and long grass everywhere. I can`t deal with this myself, and the menfolk here don`t `do` any garden stuff, so I have to enlist the help of a neighbour`s son 2 or 3 times per summer, as necessary, with a petrol strimmer, I pay him (less than I`d pay a professional) but I DO wish that we could tackle this ourselves.0

Not put any washing out yet but hoping to rectify that tomorrow! I have started preparing the garden for summer and there are loads of good hints and tips on the greenfingered board.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

DH restrung the outside line last week, so I've been able to hang out the washing this week. It's been perfect weather for it, and the clothing smells so wonderful! We still have a fair amount of work to do on the garden, but we're getting it done little by little each weekend.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I have a small communal garden which is caught mostly in a shade trap, other side of the garden (ie neighbours garden) get the sun all day but we only get it early morning.
Will be nice in the summer though if I can get up nice and early with a cup of tea and sit on the front doorstep and then the dog can toddle about the garden if I put him on his extendible leash.
Have had washing on the line too and have two fold able airers that are outside as well with my sons clothes hanging on them. Was thinking about putting a smaller second line underneath the main one (about a meter from the floor so I can get all baby stuff on the line too and maximise space usage - just means boyfriend and the mail man will have to use the path instead of the actual gravel patch!
Really do need to get some flowers in my garden though because it looks awful at the minute.Time to find me again0
