Ivyleaf - how about a Tuna pasta bake, or even a salmon one, if you have a tin in. Also fish pie?

RosyRed- Congrats on the good news, must be quite a relief for both of you! :)
    is76- Welcome! hellowave.gif

Sending positive vibes to Diva . . . . will check back in the morning for news.

Where has the day gone? I've hoovered, made dinner (lunch), did the washing up, had a long shower, caught up on a few things on the park and ironed. Can't tell you what happened to the rest of the hours, but I'm certain I was doing something :rotfl: Get's worse with each passing year and I've not hit 50 yet!

Tea will be roast turkey sandwiches and salad and I think an evening of soaps then reading will do nicely, rest my weary mind ;)

    Have a good one!

Candygirl - I totally agree with all the other posts. In fact I did leave my Ds1 and DD when they were 18months and 9 months respectively as i had to do a course at work which was about 5 days. I remember my DD looking at me as if I was a stranger which really hurt me. Its not so much the effect on Boo as I can imagine that she is very used to being with you and will have a lovely time. Its more that your DD takes you for granted and does not treat you very well or respect you x

Diva - hope tomorrow goes ok. Will be thinking of you x

Bargainbird - good luck to you for your op x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

csarina people like that have obviously never heard of fair shares! Do you mean that folk were saying they were the owners of Dobie's? Blooming cheek

No Ivyleaf, what they were implying was that if they could afford a roller they could afford to buy their bedding plants at Dobbies. I totted up that they bought just over £50's worth of plants. I guess at Dobbies they would have spent around £90.

OH has been DD free for 11 days, went down with one this evening. He is not getting them as frequently as he was thankfully.

We went and recovered about 14 yards of wire to keep the bunnies out of the garden this afternoon, tomorrow we will have to attach it to the fence and buty abour 9 inches facing out so the bunnies cannot burrow through it.

Lemon salmon and salad for supper.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

She's on a drip thankfully Bitsy. She did say that she could cry though but didn't have the fluid to spare :(

    Evening all,

Popped in to see if there was any update on Diva, what a shame, hope it goes ahead tomorrow but at least she should get a good job done by her consultant. Thanks Sunnygirl, for the update, please send best wishes.

Bargainbird- all the best for your op tomorrow, hope you make a speedy recovery.

I am fairly shattered after looking after 6 yr old niece for the day,we've played me being the teacher, her being the teacher, then to the park ,back for lunch, made buns, played more school, played some games, read stories,...phew,but she did give me a gold star and a 'silver reward sticker' :rotfl:

I had meant to make a meat pie for tea,but ran out of time,so bought some gammon steaks off the market, and some readyprepared veg from M&S:o, on the way to meet DH so it was easy when we got back from the chiropractor.

Going to put my feet up and watch Corrie, with a glass in one hand.

:ABy the way, thanks for the good wishes from you all on DS1 new job.Not seen him since this morning,he's at a wedding today, but I shall tell him when he gets back.xx

    Evening all

I'm rather happy cos I've just booked a short holiday to Italy for end of May :j:j me and a friend are going for 4 nights, cheap Ryanair flights and nice hotel, under £150 each :D. I've also booked tickets to see Wales V South Africa in June for me, my friend, my brother and his friend! Time to lock up my CC I think!! :o

I had a fantastic day at work :D Tenby was beautiful, my 2 work kids are doing great on work placements. Me and my colleague had lunch and wander by the sea. There was lots of driving, plus I walked to work, and all the sea air has made me rather tired now!

Dinner was HM potato cakes woth beans and salad. I'm too tired to wash up but there isn't much to do so I'll leave it til tomorrow.

butterflybrain - hope you are ok
    rosyred - congrats to DS1!!
    is76 - welcome!

    have a good evening all

OMG I hadn't read all your replies so am back here with my tail between my legs now:o:oDD rang begging me to have Boo for a week when me and Mum are going away to the Lakes. I asked her for an apology for the other day and she said no cos i'm nice to Boo and not her(how childish does that sound?):eek:Anyway I talked it over with my Mum and she thinks DD needs the rest, so we are going to have Boo together, along with my Bros kids so they will have a nice time.I have stressed this is a one time only thing, but tbh cannot believe she wants to leave her baby for a week:(:(I remember leaving her for 2 nights when she was 3 and I was eaten up with guilt :(:(
Anyway (((hugs))) again to DIVA who is having a much worse time than me:o:o
