Morning all................((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))) if you need one.....sorry to hear that MSD was not well enough for her op yesterday hope she is ok for today.

Candygirl; I think you should tell your DD no to the week, she is shifting responsibility for her child to you and thats not on. I know you dote on the little one, but she is your grand daughter, not your daughter. The occasional day fine, but a week is just too long.

Well I have seen everything now, it was Aldi morning and as they had bedding plants in and I needed some fruit and salad stuff I took a drive into town. I turned into the car park and was aware that there was a car following me. I pulled into a parking space and glanced at the car as it drove past, it was a Rolls Royce and not an old one either.

The couple got out, collected a couple of trollies and went into the store just in front of me, they proceeded to fill both trollies to the top with trays of bedding plants..I just could not help but stand and watch them as did several other people, a few of them muttering about RR's and Dobies (The large garden centre outside Edinburgh) By the time they had finished there were only a few trays left which were quickly snaffled, I got french marigolds and petunias and also a collection of patio pot plants. The couple went stright to the check out and were gone.

They had turkey crowns for £8.99 so I bought one, it will do for when DD and SIL come next month I can cook it and slice it, it will do us for quite a few meals.

As I got to the checkout queue several people were standing looking at the now empty plant trollies, the manager was there explaining that they had sold out and maybe would get more tomorrow but he could not say for sure.....quite a few disgruntled customers........

Left OH at home blocking up holes to stop the bunnies getting in we saw two in the garden last night, thankfully they had not had time to discover the plants....phew......

This afternoon we are going to collect the wide fencing we are going to sink into the ground to stop them burrowing in, maybe I should get a ferret??????

It was a lovely morning but it seems to be clouding over, hope the rain holds off till we get the wire...............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

My thoughts ??? no, this is too long for a one year old to be away from her mum, it will confuse boo, and I'm sure will upset her, even though she loves being with you, its just too long. You will have to stand strong on this one for boo's sake xx

Butterfly Brain Big hugs and hope you're feeling much better very soon xx

Rosy Red's Son :j:T:j:T Whoo hoo & well done!

Candy Girl My thoughts are the same as Csarina's & Red Ruby's in that a week is too long and your DD is definitely taking the pee. I'd have a long talk to her about she treats you as an unpaid baby sitter to suit her whims and how it has to stop.

No news of Diva yet I'll ring her later tonight about 9pm I think which should hopefully give the poor love time to recover from whatever today has brought  I texted her first thing to send everyones love & good wishes and wish her good luck.

Oh well back to work for me :o

Thought I would pop in...first time visitor to the daily thread.

I am holiday at the moment and woke up to my first ever homemade yoghyrt (thanks to easiyo and the easiyo thread). It was good and I feel inspired to go on with more adventures in yoghurt making (filtering, coconut and goats milk to name a few)

I popped to the gym and feel better for getting in a work out.

Tonight I am going to try making a green bean, tomato casserole things. I might pop some onions and anchovies in it. Hmmm, its an idea.

I also bought some dried peas to see if I can shoot them (as inspired by the edible garden last night). It seems straight forward enough.

Ah, well...enough of my rambling. Its nice to potter round the house and relax. Goodbye stress, hello relaxation.

    Hey everyone.

Didn't post yesterday as having 4 kids from 7.30am til 2.30pm and then my own two monsters I am not getting time to do anything, nevermind the important stuff like [STRIKE]OS Daily thread[/STRIKE] housework ;)

Gorgeous day today. Took all 4 kids to the park - had to push 3 of them  Boy was I a bit red in the face :o Absolutely shattered. Only got one extra tomorrow which is a good job as I am off out tomorrow night :j

Tea tonight is baked fish (in tomato and pepper sauce) with some veg and mash.

Diva - thinking of you. Hope you're on the road to recovery hugs

Candygirl - No way. Not a week. I think that's really unfair to Boo. Jeez there is times I'd love a week to myself but at the end of the day this is the sacrifice of being a parent. If I wanted the single life I shouldn't have had kids. Not read yesterdays thread but from the tone of it sounds like you're being taken for granted. Same as my brother does to my mum. Never apologises for anything and just takes, takes, takes. Put your foot down and don't be taken advantage of.

is76 - welcome to the thread. Hope you can stick around :j

Right better dash kids are slumped in front of TV as they are worn out.
