    Hi hun,
The clothes sound a good investment, well done.

What N had sounds exactly like what my 2 had when we were away. Glad he is on the mend but crap about you two...I have been fighting something for the past week!

    Budget looks good x

Thanks Bun x It is good to have you back:p

The budget does seem to stack up quite well and should be pretty much as is if I stick to taking packed lunch to work. JSA paying for my first commuter card was a big help too:D

Bet you had a great time though. Those kind of days are once in a lifetime and I am so happy you got them x

As for me, just glad to be back on track with work and repaying debt. It is a huge relief.

Its great to be somewhere I'm not automatically thought of as Nathan's Mum.... I almost feel guilty for needing that but not quite:o

Glad you are enjoying your job!
Unfortunately Luc - parenting is a guilt ridden occupation! I have regular bouts of feeling intensly guilty about having a career and kids missing out on mummy being at home more - but I know I wouldn't be good at being a stay at home mum! I am just hoping that sometime in the near future - when i'm debt free I can use my spare income to give me more time with kids when I'm off rather than things like ironing (which not only take time but make me grumpy when not done and equally as grumpy when doing!)

I think if you ask most if not all parents there is an element of guilt at some point! Part of the job! (but it is worth it!)

    Morning all.

Had a good if tiring week at work. Hubbles is still quite poorly with the cold/throat thing Nathan passed on but I seem to be past the worst of it. Everything tastes a bit funny still cos of my throat being raw, especially tea which is pretty much undrinkable at the moment:eek:

Hubbles is taking Nathan to watch his uncle play rugby this afternoon (if either of them ever get out of bed!) and I have lunch with the PND girls (was nice to be invited and will see how I feel about keeping in touch now there's more water under the bridge) and then I may go to a craft shop just down the rails as they are having a weekend of demos and special prices.

Will be leaving the credit card at home... really hoping to get some boxes so I can put together projects kits so I don't have to get everything and its uncle out every time I want/need to make something...

On an MSE front I sent away for my free railcard, mostly to get the half price voucher as we might be getting the train down to Mum and Dads this summer and a railcard will make that MUCH cheaper:D

    Morning.

Last night I had a secondary LBM, not about how I spend my money but, about how I spend my time. Since finding MSE the hours I clock on chat, FB and other sires plating mindless games has increased and other parts of my life are being neglected. Too many evenings are spent with me staring at the lappy while Hubbles stares at the TV with hardly a word between us and it has to stop. I don't want to spend the next 40+ years in silence with the man I love.

I don't propose to stop coming on MSE but I will be avoiding chat for a good while. I'll update the diary regularly, perhaps daily when stuff is happening but probably less frequently TBH. FB is on my phone so I will be on there on regular periods but I have fully and finally unsubscribed from all games and will be hiding notifications about games from my feed so I don't get sucked back in...

Hope to see friendly faces popping on here from time to time though cos I will miss you all x
