The nail brush isn't too bad - honest. Sometimes it is the ONLY thing that will do the trick! You can be quite gentle with it - the bristles work into the skin; or you can go in rough (depends on how you are feeling towards the child concerned!!!)0

hey peeps. Job starts next week;)
The lack of internet appearances is due to not having a functioning power pack in the day. I can bum off Hubbles' in the evening but it doesn't have a high enough wattage to charge my laptop battery26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Looking good. Should be able to sweep a good chunk into overdrawn HBoS account and get it nicely cleared off in relatively short order and get it closed before moving on to tackle Egg and then cancelling that one:D By Xmas I should only have the Tesco card to clear:j26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

You ok?
I'm tired but otherwise okay. Nathan has been quite poorly with temperature spikes all week and that along with a new job has meant my mind is fully occupied so haven't dwelt on recent events at all and it just feels miles away from now. Hope that doesn't come across as totally callous. I was delighted to be pregnant but hadn't 'engaged' with the baby like I did when Nathan was Bean because there was so much going on with new job.
Anyway, onwards and upwards:D Here's to being debt free in 2011:beer:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Fairly average weekend in the scheme of things really.
Nathan's temperature finally stopped spiking late on Saturday and he got his appetite back which is a relief becuase he's barely eaten or drunk anything for a week and the weight has fallen off him. He's still utterly shattered and coughing a bit but all in all a marked improvement and he's back to nursery today.
As for me & Hubbles - well not surprisingly we have got what Nathan has had - full of the cold and very sore throats, to the point where it is painful to swallow. I feel like someone has shoved sandpaper down my throat and scalpel blades into my tonsils/glands. Not nice.
On a spend/save front we did a tesco shop online and with various codes, including a tenner off because we haven't used the online service for a while, managed to get £20 off so quite pleased with that. It includes food for lunches so shouldn't have to buy linch this week which will not only save money, but get me back on track in terms of being healthy:A
I also went and got a few bits for work as my old stuff is more worn out looking than I realised. Not the cheapest stuff but I find that for work if I pay a bit more it wears better, especially shirts and skirts/trousers so £75 for 3 shirts and a skirt which should see me right until next month when I want to replace some trousers and shoes and add a couple of cardis as the office temperature can be a bit hit or miss...
All within budget though:D:A:A:A26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
