BoS didnt want to know offering a 10% discount, same for Egg.
Opus yet to get back to me.
Great news PP. Really pleased for you. Onwards and upwards. :T May I ask if MBNA were one still applying interest and how long there was still to run?

My end date was 1016, prob more like 2014 now, as for MBNA- they stopped interest immediately.
It took about half a dozen calls, I started at £600, they are well known for F & Fs apparently. PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.

Isn't it great when we can celebrate each others good news as well as be there to support each other.
Good news E2. What happens when they are 0. Do you get any confirmation it is settled in full?

I've had one actually send a letter saying "settled" but another, Quick Quid, keep sending me special offers to take out another loan!
"as a loyal customer who has repaid the last loan"!!!!
Yes I paid it alright, it took me about a year though.
I await Mackenzie Halls confirmation, but i'm not holding my breath.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Thanks E2. I have a loan that after 7 years has just 5 payments to go, be glad to see the back of it so interested to see that gone. Daft as it sounds I hope the fact I will then have a little more DMP to prorata to the others doesn't kick the computer madness off again!
I'm almost sure we started our DMPs at the same time with the same duration thought to be at that time. Mine's been extended as I've not been able to get all interest stopped. Not shouting too loudly about it as have been fortunate in the main and certainly better than what the alternative was. I do hope yours finishes when you expect it to. Do you keep your own records as I wouldn't want you to get a nasty shock, hopefully they are in the past for us all.
My car insurance is due in a couple of months. I'm hoping to get CCCS to review my budget after then and before loan paid off so can just make one adjustment if you see what I mean.
For now I will be happy when I can update my signature tomorrow. small steps and all. Mine and other peoples landmarks keep me going but I hope that's not disengaging for others?
