Hi Gabriella,
hope you feel a bit better today after your mum and sister going home.
I was wondering about RBS and Santandurrr too as I am in the same boat as you (pardon the pun paddlers!), I'll look into it at some stage.
:T Well done on the budget book.....
Ted
Hi Teds,
Feeling much better today. I rang the RBS helpline it was in a dailymail article tbh the girl seemed a bit confused but went away and said loans were not moving over. A little worried as our mortgage is with santander/abbey.
But if my account is now inactive and is with inhouse collections ii'm hoping it'll stay there.
Posted on the banking board as a couple of RBS reps were on there, if anything comes back i shall let you know.
Hi to all:wave::wave: hope you've had a MSE weekend Sat and Sun = NSD's for me, i haven't left the house boringggggggggggggg:D
Hi Mephitsa,
Glad you had a good relaxing timebut pay your card off asap you wouldn't want anything happening to your other creditors.
If you do want to do anything like this in the future have you looked at Bannatynes spas they often have good offers only £15 for a facial if you like a treat every now and again. take care x0 -

Hi everybody
Not a great deal to report to be honest...
But I've been thinking.............again.....are we sitting comfortably? Then I will begin.
What I find strange about me now is how i'm dishing out advice to people! I'm sat here some evenings looking at th DFW board and thinking "thats me" or that was me 5 months ago. However, I can now share what I/we have learned over the past few months about how to confront debt head on. How we can beat our demon spending or our self inflicted problem/addictions or even address the issues someone else has left us with. As Martin says, every debt issue has an answer, not always an easy answer but it can be addressed every single time.
This place, this thread, this internet message board is priceless. The advice you get FOR FREE, by people donating their time FOR FREE, and for no other reason than they want to do it. I know i've written this before but I truly believe that this place saves lives.
Sorry for going on but I sometimes think we can forget of how much all of us has achieved and how much our newest posters can achieve in such a short space of time.
So I just thought i'd big up the DMP boys n girls.
Well done all of you.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

i totally agree that this board has given me courage and support i could not get anywhere else, none of my friends know about my debt situation and it's only from the success stories on here that i feel I CAN actually do this :T0

Ted - get that ironing done!!0

Hello everyone!
Haven't been on for a while - super busy times at work! Hope everyone is ok and managing well!
Got my HSBC current account transferred to a DCA (Metropolitan) after a slight panic over getting a final demand (don't worry if you get one of these as it is standard procedure) - so no more interest on that account! Also got a final demand today for my HSBC credit card so I phoned up to tell them about the DMP (which they confirmed over the phone) and that this should also be passed on to metropolitan. Hopefully when this happens then all my creditors will have accepted (bar MBNA who are accepting payments and not adding interest).
Phew!Paddle number 22
