Hi Newbeginning,
Mine took 11 minutes, but it may take longer for most as my husband pays most of the household bills and my outgoings are more for the kids stuff; clothes, homeschool stuff, train fares etc, so I don't have to go through as much.
They asked my husbands name and the ages of my children, value of house and car, remainder of mortgage in time and money.
I wish I had braced myself more as I hadn't all the paperwork in front of me when I made the call, thinking I'd be in a queue. In the confusion, I forgot my post code (WFT!!!!????) I came across as a right wally!:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks, ours is a joint DMP and although I'm better with the figures than OH I'm still pretty rubbish!!0 -

They agreed to stop fees but not stop interest altogether. Reason, my payments are over 2% of the balance. I had the same with Hellifax. Isn't it crazy that they have to let you hit the wall before they will stop?!!!!!! Still 9.9 better than 30 so onwards and upwards and all that. Egg, Hellifax and Barclay card have one of the M&S accounts haven't bothered to respond at all.

You'll get there HH xDMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
:mad: It drives you mad if you think too much about it, any sniff of a late payment and up goes the interest, if you've less than 1% then some notably my hsbc friends will charge me £100 interest on the £35 payment, but best stop thinking about that and hope their dca are more friendly!
You'll get there HH x
We will indeed Mama. Thanks to you guys. As Pure says, they can have the money but not our lives!

Evening All
Well spent most of the evening pouring over the wording of the apology letter I received from Shi?i.
29 inaccurate statements and 14 statements that are total lies. Spoke with CCCS and they are sending me the communications they have had with this creditor so that I can use the documents as documentary evidence for the ombudsman.
So much for an apology. After reading the letter several times it seems to be another tactic to get more money out of me disguised as an apology letter.
A copy has been sent to CCCS for their comments. I am now writing another letter quoting various laws that have been breached and various points of law as well as case history. Hopefully they will understand that I can only pay what has been offered by CCCS.
Just when I thought things had settled down.

The reason I've decided to self manage again is because I fell off the wagon considerably harder than PayPlan were happy withbasically I was a VERY bad True..... I think the lightbulb went off, IYSWIM.
Hows things going with you? Any news from PDD or Natty recently?
So long as you are back on the wagon now True and you're back here -we missed you! The lightbulb gets very dim here when its dh's payday ...and shines brighter as the month goes on?!DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -

Together us Paddlers can be the model for energy saving lightbulbs, we may even have a bit of fun on the way. Hey that's something else for free!Evening All

Mikon - they are going to regret tangling with you..eventually. I'd love to see your reply quoting their lies and inaccuracies and pertinant laws. Writing to them and dealing with it is going to feel better than just stressing over it. Good luck with the letter.DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20
