I just (finally) emailed my new budget and income to CCCS. By my calculations, I will be increasing my payment by £7.00 per month!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Is it worth the trouble?
Lets wait and see....
Is that for your review? Didn't realise you could email, did you have to ask for this?0 -
Hi True:D
Good to 'see you hun! Things must be going well if you've been able to fall off the wagon - are they? Wish I could bake such perfect cakes!
Thanks for the welcome back guys! (Think I'll pass on the spam sarnie though Teddy :rotfl:)
I'm not really sure what happened to my motivation to be honest, doing hours and hours at the chippy, bashing away at the OU course and the whole debt thing almost got forgotten about - had SO's set up to send tokens to everyone so they've all been quiet and well behaved which has been nice. I have decided that I want to self manage (again) so need a virtual kick up the erris to get on with it (again
)....
Aaaaaanyway - I'm back with a vengenceand its nearly the weekend :j
Mama - when is it that you're coming down? Soon I hope - the sun has just come out!!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
I have just heard back from MBNA re my appeal to get them to stop interest (they had agreed to reduce to 9.9). It's a no go. They agreed to stop fees but not stop interest altogether. Reason, my payments are over 2% of the balance. I had the same with Hellifax. Isn't it crazy that they have to let you hit the wall before they will stop?!!!!!! Still 9.9 better than 30 so onwards and upwards and all that. Egg, Hellifax and Barclay card have one of the M&S accounts haven't bothered to respond at all.

The easy way to teach children the value of money is to borrow some from them.
Ted Love the new signature. You should be on the stage!

Well I had the email option on my letter but when I sent it in they replied saying I had to phone as I had done the first budget online. I just done it and my payment is increasing by £6 per month. I did not enjoy the experience, I have to say. I feel very upset about all the questions, including my husbands name, even though he isn't on the DMP.Paddle no. 12

I know it's really nosey of me but what kind of things do they ask and does it take long? I've too ring them for mine but have been putting it off as I don't know what to expect. I know, great big wimp!!0 -
sounds like you've been really busy. Are you still going to do the Citizens Advice training? Your description of all being quiet on the predator front and nearly forgetting about the DMP sounds good so wondering how come you've decided to self manage again??
Great to see you back again
Thanks Ted!
The reason I've decided to self manage again is because I fell off the wagon considerably harder than PayPlan were happy withbasically I was a VERY bad True..... I think the lightbulb went off, IYSWIM.
Hows things going with you? Any news from PDD or Natty recently?Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -

Hi Newbeginning,
Mine took 11 minutes, but it may take longer for most as my husband pays most of the household bills and my outgoings are more for the kids stuff; clothes, homeschool stuff, train fares etc, so I don't have to go through as much.
They asked my husbands name and the ages of my children, value of house and car, remainder of mortgage in time and money.
I wish I had braced myself more as I hadn't all the paperwork in front of me when I made the call, thinking I'd be in a queue. In the confusion, I forgot my post code (WFT!!!!????) I came across as a right wally!:rotfl::rotfl:Paddle no. 12
