My payments with Pay Plan are pro rata, so the £200.00 debt to John Lewis will take as long as the £9000.00 with Barclaycard so how is one of yours finished, do CCCS not do pro rata payments? Also if one debt is over do CCCS/Pay Plan not just use that money to pay the other debtors?
Barclaycard still charge me interest and I agree with you it would be nice to have it stopped, since they charge £50.00 a month of the £150.00 Pay Plan pay them.
When they are all paid off, it will be nice to know that £400 + a month will be mine and I could not imagine needing ccs or loans if I had that extra a month to put by for holidays, clothes, gadgets etc.
Still think that in away we are the lucky ones and there must be millions out there worrying themselves silly about what to do with their debts.
Morning
For some reason half of my monthly payment is being used to pay one creditor which means it will have been cleared in three months. I'm assuming its because its a Pay Day Loan Company and they can be nasty so, maybe, experience has taught CCCS to get rid of this company as fast as possible.
I don't really know to be honest but that is whats happening.
I'm assuming that once that ones gone then the payment will be fully pro-rated against the rest of my numerous debtsI'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

I'm actually a bit annoyed with CCCS. I sent all my info back to them ages ago and have been waiting for their reply. I finally rang them today and their response was 'didn't you get your email'. Great. I hardly ever log into my email. Anything remotely important get's redirected to my Blackberry. So they need another payslip. Not a problem, I have one, but it's over a week since they emailed me. I've asked them to call me in future if they need anything, and remove my email from their system.0

Thanks for that bit of info, it might be of use to others with loans with those kind of companies. Does sound like you'd want to get rid of them quickly :TPaddle No 21 :wave:0 -
Evening all,
O dear ljm sorry to hear you had such a horrible time camping, drunken youths very annoying, I would of complained.
E2 you are so right I have found the same thing that all this has brought us closer together, it is just such a weight lifted.
Well finally today i eventually posted all my stuff off to CCCS after so many setbacks since I started the process in April, I cant wait now till its all up and running, sick of doing the token payments now, I only live in a small town and know some of the staff in the post office, they're bound to of worked out what im up to!
Anyway off to work tonight so catch up tomorrow.LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0 -
Well just when you thought things have settled down with Citi. They rang me today (even though I have requested that they do not and they have written to me and accepted the offer CCCS made). Anyway they rang to ask me to pay an additional £1.80 per month and a formal plan would be set up. I told them I have not got £1.80 they then told me that I would be defaulted I told them not to worry as some of my other creditors have defaulted me and therefore my credit rating is shot. She then told me that it was only £1.80 and it would also prevent the debt being passed to a third party (anyone know who the third party is)? I said if its only £1.80 then waive the if I am sure yu have the financial backing to do so. I told her not to ring me and I would speak with CCCS.
CCCS informed me that this is a tactic that CITI use to contact you and next month they will ring and ask for another couple of pounds. I think I will just ignore this and write to them explaining that they have accepted my offer and quote some law. Anyone else had this experience?

Hi everyone - had my 6 month review with CCCS went okay they did want to reduce my payment but I asked to keep it the same. Dont want to upset creditors after only 6 months. I mentioned Halifax still charging me interest even though on statements it states next months interest will be zero. They suggested I ring them which I have already done and also write them a letter. So I'll try that and see if it helps because of my £90 a month payment £75 is interest!! Any suggestions on what to write0
