    Hi mamajoe!
I'll phone PP to tell them tomorrow but the bit that worries me is that the letter says:
"If you have difficulty in paying any sum owing under this agreement or taking any other action required by this notice, you can apply to the court which may make an order allowing you or any surety more time"

Did you get this as well?

I know they did say in the phone calls that they would accept £62 instead of £43 a month to stop interest but that's just scare tactics to squeeze every last amount out of me before going to a DCA I guess!

    Cheers!

    Me too Jeddy!
I'm thinking just exactly the same as you! Trying not to be stressed by their lovely choice of wording, I think on looking round this site they'll be sending us off to their inhouse DCA Metropolitan.
I#'ll let you know what happens next!

och I'm wallpapering the downstairs loo with defaults, that's how much they matter. The sooner you get them the better cos they take 6 years to fall off your credit record, so if your creditors default you right away, it just means that it will fall off sooner when you're finished.

Calmness, its only a bit of paper.

    Well done prof, two stars!!!!

    Take care all

A default is issued when you've defaulted on your monthly payments and each creditor seems to have a different point at which they will default you so it may well come in the token stage or when you start DMP proper! Sorry to be so vague :)

    Morning guys,

Just spoken to PayPlan - DMP proper starts on 16th July! Man, that feels good :D!

Prof - did they offer you the payment, life, car and house cover? If so, did you take it? I'm inclined to say no to everything but the car cover as £10 for MOT's, servicing and breakdown cover sounds pretty good to me!

Andy, don't worry about not starting until September, I've been sending tokens since January and I've not been taken to court so as long as you keep up with the tokens I'm sure you'll be fine!

I finally finished my OU assignment yesterday and submitted it - I'm not sure I got it right but I guess thats the point of writing assignments so the tutors can check whether you're getting it or not! Thanks for offering to proof read Teddy, I kinda forgot that you'd offered until I'd already sent it but I've got another one due soon so if the offer is still open....

How is everyone? Its been pretty quiet in here for a few days - is the sun shining all over the country now? :D

    Morning True!

Its very hot here today but home school is still going on! My middle son has my super white irish skin so I really have to keep him in, my other 2, esp the youngest, have my DHs olive skin (lucky them, all glowing!!)

Anyway, I'm usually lurking online during school hours if anyone wants a chat, except tomorrow when I'll be setting up a "ration shop" for our homeschool group's world war 2 theme! So, I'm off to make "ration books" and need to find some pictures of chocolate and exotic fruits for the little ones who can't read yet...

Good luck with your OU assignment True!
