Very big LOL!!!
I just had a man call at the door. I think he said he was doing a survey, but with my barking dogs, I can't be sure. I told him I had a husband in bed on night shift and that we homeschool, so could not talk to him. It was only after he left that I thought of doorstepping DCAs, talk about progress!!
Today we have made an origami dolphin and some stand up on their own bears...... (and maths, science, reading and creative writing of course, we started at 8am)
Sounds like lots of fun in your house....and shortbread afterwards too, now thats just showing off!!!! But is it a good recipe - pass on if good please! The last one we followed wasn't the best!
We did cakes and cookies yesterday - only 14 cupcakes - all gone now!!!1 cookie left:(DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -

I know, it was several minutes later before I even thought about DCAs!!
The shortbread was OK, just the basic flour, butter and sugar recipe. Thats actually about all we have left in the cupboards!:rotfl::rotfl:Paddle no. 12

Debt at LBM £23,0000 -
So today when i have come in i had a letter from sainsbury bank about the interest rate on my cerdit card account saying they were putting it up from September, I' spoken to Pay plan and they said that my payment offer has been accepted and that this letter has come from a different department and that she will contact them to check what the interes rate is i certainly hope they are not intending to put up the interest rate, or I will never manage to pay the debt off20p savers club 2013#23 83.00 (2014 numer 6,70.00 pounds) 2036SPC No 6(2013) 182.34

Anna, don't panic - on here somewhere (I'll go look in a mo) there is a letter you can send to them rejecting the interest rate increase. I think you have to agree not to spend on the card anymore, which isn't a problem seeing as you're DMP-ing it anyway, so I'll pop off and find that article for you and post a link.Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -

Hi everyone
Prof P P - Good news on the Shiti front was a bit downbeat when I read they had refused your offer i thought the same as you high interest rates etc, then I read that you phoned them and they told you it had been accepted for a short period so good news after all.
Well done.

Over recent posts I have read about DCA threatening to attend homes.
Well I have received this template from another thread which apparently works so I thought I would post it here for people to use incase you get a letter informing you that someone would be attending your home to collect the debt.
It might be worth copying and saving on your computer.
Template Letter - Doorstep Visit
Dear Sirs,
Account No: XXXXXXXX
Please be advised that I will only communicate with you in writing. I have noted your repeated attempts to contact me over the past few weeks and these have been duly logged by time and date. Should it be your intention to arrange a doorstep visit, please be advised that under OFT rules, you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I have no wish to make such an appointment with you.
There is an implied license under English Common Law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission; the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v Sheppard & Short Ltd [1959] 2 QB 384. per Lord Evershed M.R.). Therefore take note that I revoke license under Common Law for you, or your representatives to visit me at my property and, if you do so, you will be liable to damages for a tort of trespass and action will be taken, including but not limited to, police attendance.
Yours faithfully
I think you will agree it is quite an impressive letter and it works.
Regards
