Hi everyone, DH finally cleared off with the dogs so I can finally get on here without him hovering around, LOL!!:rotfl:

Mamajojo, yesterday was a great day for home educators as with the disolution of parliament there is also a great number of bills not yet passed, including compulsory registration of home educators, which in itself doesn't sound like a bad thing until you read the small print, giving the local authority more power than the police to interview (and influence) your children alone:eek:, to apply a school attendance order if they think your child has a narrow world view, possibly due to a religious upbringing, and many many more things that would make you shudder. I did warn you that it wasn't a topic for this forum but you did ask!!!

    Nothing DMP to report....

Had an Alton Towers brainwave in my search for still having a life.... but not sure how it would work out...if you go you get 'come back tomorrow' tickets for £9.00... so if someone you knew was going, they could buy you some and you could use them the following day?????? :j

I got some of the free alton towers tickets from the sun newspaper promotion, but whsmiths are giving away the 2for1 tickets at the minute. I know it still works out expensive but just a thought ;)

    Evening all,

    Hope your all well?

Just nipped on to have a sound off really at how fricking dumb Triton/RbasterdsofS:mad: are. I received a payslip today from my old company with another tax rebate hurrah i shout:j:j but not such good news it has been paid into my dormant account. I was told i would not be receiving anymore monies so i hadn't bothered changing over my bank details withwork. So £109 gets dropped into the abyss of RBS.

I ring up to make sure that it'll get taken off the amount i owe conversation goes like this after the usual.
RBS are you ringing up to pay off the outstanding amount £16000:eek: haha are they stupid:rotfl::rotfl:
    No
Then i ask her to double check the money has been paid in, she says yes in Feb, i say No March as already explained its a new transaction, the divy is clearly not listening and cannot be arsed to help. She confirms that it has gone in my dormant account on the 31st. So i say can you take it straight off the loan whilst i'm on the phone. No she says!! !!!!!! is up with these people. I'm paying extra for gods sake because they won't let me get my hands on it anyway.
The same thing happened to me at the end of Feb and i spoke to a helpful lady who paid it to the debt and gave me updated balance and was generally very nice.

So sorry for the rant just can't get over the complete madness aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, and now i want to gorge on chocolate!!!:EasterBun
Speak soon all, can't wait to get a fricking job to really start paying these idiots off ahaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

Hi, managed to get on here whilst my two are off playing some free tennis for an hour..

Nanny - great news re Black Horse

Hiya True - missed your posts... when does your DMP start, mines going to be 1st June, got lots to sort out, finishing old job, starting new one, childcare etc...more up in the air than ever but Hey, what's 6 months...do you think we will be sorted by Xmas?

VicB - thanks for the tip on finding us all

Not sure who asked but Re the building society savings - I just joined the Yorkshire Building Society on line, papers turned up the next day - was well impressed!

Newbeginnings - Congrats on your 2 stars! :j

Nataz - thanks for trying to move us back, looks like we are here for good. Am a Man U fan by the way!

Mama - see DH hasn't quite got there yet although at times I tend to forget.

:D:D Many naked minstrels have suffered this afternoon.
Sadly a hit with all the family, good job I bought 2 bags! Thank you New!

LJM - Blimey, not suprised yesterday was a good home educators day! So the government were after giving you the hoops to jump through too and bring big brother powers into your home:eek:. Its madness, different authorities have very different attitudes to home ed it seems, though I know very little about it really, if peeps have decided that home ed is the best thing for their child there should be good quality support available nationally; where people want it, I'm guessing - in terms of resource banks etc. I remember you saying your dmp had a good chunk for home ed. I suppose its the same as in teaching, the s*** hits the fan for everyone because of a minority. Do you think this bill will go away?

Ted - I so so want to go to play at Alton Towers, we need to loose the children too as they'd seriously mess up the fun due to their being too flipping short. If its balaclavas on I'm with you!

Eventually spoke to cccs, they hadn't paid IF because IF had given them the plan number and you can't pay into a plan number, and they didn't use the current account number I'd given them. So now CCCS ar writing to IF to tell them they'll get a double payment this month. Have I said all this already? Can't remember if I told DH or typed it on here. Oh heck virtual and real worlds merging. Before you know it I'll be doing slow motion moves with keanu.....

:eek:Gabriella:eek: Wouldn't you just love a button on the phone to send an electric shock to the "*?>*$*" on the other end.....
though obviously only enough pain to make them realise the pain and anguish they are causing.

    Have a  and the:EasterBuntoo!

aaaah Gabriella, RBS what can I say, I am ashamed to be sharing a country with them. Their customer service is pathetic and they can never tell you anything, bad bad training, perhaps none at all.
Mama you brain is melting, so is mine I want to win the lottery and it all needs to go away, far.
I was very very sick with revels when I was around 10 and have never been able to look at them since, naked or not, the revels I mean not me euugghh

Cant believe I missed out on coffee and chocolate.. boo hoo hoo! I was a bit naughty today though, all that easter stuff on sale, just couldnt resist some cream eggs and I got a peter rabbit money box reduced to £1.74 in waitrose, perfect for DDs xmas. I was practically following the reduced sticker man around the store, suprised they didnt throw me out :rotfl:

I would love to join you all at Alton Towers, shame my kids are way to small, maybe we should leave them with our OHs ;) I wonder who would end up crying first!

Naughty your paddle number is 10... oooo our new PM :D:D!!!

Mama DS has finally worked out how to sleep **she whispers very quietly** just seems to have lost the ability to sleep during the day! Talking and potty training.... fun!
