Sadly a hit with all the family, good job I bought 2 bags! Thank you New!

LJM - Blimey, not suprised yesterday was a good home educators day! So the government were after giving you the hoops to jump through too and bring big brother powers into your home:eek:. Its madness, different authorities have very different attitudes to home ed it seems, though I know very little about it really, if peeps have decided that home ed is the best thing for their child there should be good quality support available nationally; where people want it, I'm guessing - in terms of resource banks etc. I remember you saying your dmp had a good chunk for home ed. I suppose its the same as in teaching, the s*** hits the fan for everyone because of a minority. Do you think this bill will go away?

Ted - I so so want to go to play at Alton Towers, we need to loose the children too as they'd seriously mess up the fun due to their being too flipping short. If its balaclavas on I'm with you!

Eventually spoke to cccs, they hadn't paid IF because IF had given them the plan number and you can't pay into a plan number, and they didn't use the current account number I'd given them. So now CCCS ar writing to IF to tell them they'll get a double payment this month. Have I said all this already? Can't remember if I told DH or typed it on here. Oh heck virtual and real worlds merging. Before you know it I'll be doing slow motion moves with keanu.....

If Labour go away, so does their home ed bill....

The review only applied to England at first but Wales and Northern Ireland law is formed from English law in most cases so it was certain to affect everyone. I met with my local MLA and a member of his party who is involved in education last summer and he said our Education Minister was looking at the recommendations in this bill with a view to implementing them here once passed. The main problem I have with this is that home educators are treated as if we are doing something wrong and must be stopped. I could rant on for ages.....
