    What?! Really?! That's insane.

I don't get Working Tax Credit, only Child, and that's gone down dramatically now. It's a real pain, as we get it weekly so it was great for 'top-ups' during the month - do a big shop after payday, and then use the tax credits for bread, milk, cheese etc during the month. Bah.

We've had our first actual reply from a creditor! HSBC credit card wrote to say they were giving me a 30-day leeway on my payments while I set up a repayment plan. Still waiting to hear from National Debtline though about actually getting everything started.

Ooh, and the car now has an MOT :D Had a basic service as well, nothing too expensive. We have a list of things that could do with being done, so we'll just tackle them one at a time over the coming months I guess.

    We moved again!!!

Absolutely zilch to report, no-one even cares enough to ring me anymore *sob*, not even crap one.

But I've got some Galaxy Counters - anyone old enough to remember?

They're like the naked minstrels you get in revels for those that aren't.

I always moan at DH as we walk into town with the buggy (about a 40 minute walk, which I do lots by myself) and then he 'needs' a drink and has to buy a bottle of coke from somewhere.

Next month I swear I'm buying him a water bottle and not letting him leave the house without filling it first.

    Unbelieveable...or is it?

Change of subject, don't know if anyone has experienced this but when you phone Working Families Tax Credits they are now linked with Experian  and ask who you have loans/CCs with as an identity check... good I guess that they are making sure but  feels like Big Brother and :o

I understand that you can refuse to give the info and they then have to do other checks!

I had this when I had to do my tax returns in January. I did not realise that you could refuse. What do they do with the information?

    Morning everyone...
Good news here on the IF keeping the BT refund....it arrived in the co-op this morning....Feel like I've won the lottery...£191! Sadly its needed for the car tyre fund, but that means its not coming out of the food budget! Hurray!

Hope everyone's day is going well...
Ted the Aldi popcorn is yum, ds did find a nugget of sugar and did try to crumble his teeth on it - not sure if its a bonus in every bag though! Enjoy your time with your children and an unplugged phone, sounds like a good plan to me!
LJM -How fab, no truecall and no calls, that'll finish of your 1471 habit for good! How was it a good day for home educators??? Ah go on and tell us!

Just phoned cccs - they are having to look into why the payment wasn't made to IF last month... and are going to phone back and tell me and write to IF and tell them they'll get a double payment. Wonder if I should just sent the payment anyway from the co-op, don't want to mess them around as they are our mortgage too:eek:. CCCs said not to but I still wonder!

Nat - my bundle of trouble are ok now we are home, very very bad at MIL's house! Little Ds even worse with the sleeping than last week, think it might be because he has decided to be bothered with the talking thing as well as potty training and think his head might have gone into overdrive!!!
What about yours? Duck tape still out or did the black out help?
And as for feeding 4 on £10 a week:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I don't think I could maintain the starvation diets my food refusers would like to adopt on that!

    Better go!:D
