I'm through in Armadale. Where abouts are you?
I'm in south Edinburgh, sandwiched between Dreghorn and Redford barracks, so not far from you in the scheme of things! Fingers crossed you can get the mortgage you want, so exciting!LilacPixie wrote: »christ i'm near 30 and double boring.yeah tape is repo. lothians workies but use a different supplier to tayside workies.
I would love to build a house but land is expensive.
Try being 40 and see how triple boring it is
Dilli, thanks for the reminder about fat versus muscle weight. How did you get on with the Wii? Weirdly, my DD said we should get one a few nights ago, then yesterday I got the chance to get one - Wii, 3 games inc wii fit, controller and the fit board thingy for £150. Apparently it's been used 3 times. Should I snap their hand off? Not exactly MSE but if it can help me (and the rest of the family!) get into shape, I'd seriously consider it.

Yeah dilli - its good when a plan comes together - just hope the demand is there as per my research as it will allow me to build a stable area of the business and hopefully allow me to say to my better half she does not have to go back to work after her maternity ends. Meaning our DS can enjoy a full time mummy until he goes to school£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Id love to lose a couple stone - have it in my frame to do that as im 18st.
unfortunately I am a depressive when dieting so find it difficult to lose weight as I end up pigging out on stuff I shouldnt and put weight on!

Personally, I love it - I think it is a great little machine and the good thing is as you can get so many games for it you aren't limited only to doing workouts. Just Dance it a lot of fun, and then you have Wii sports. The only problem that I have is that we are low on space at home. As my mum has annexed the front room, it leaves only the bedroom to workout as the OH alternates between playing PS3 and watching every sport that sky has to offer I barely get a look in. Hopefully, the spare room will get cleared out - I will have some office space and I can get some time to work.
But, yeah the short answer is that it is fantastic! Really great, and the good thing is that the wii fit board and be used as weighing scales so you can track your weight.10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

Got an appointment with a financial advisor at 3. Veiwing the house at 4.30. Someone else is veiwing at the same time, kinda wish they hadn't told me that. Sort of disheartened me because I now think I won't get it.
. I just hope they can't see the potential it has.

Thanks dilli
, theres 2 houses in the same price range so if I don't get one hopefully i'll the other. The one at 55k has been empty since October and the neighbours are better apparently - needs 2 new windows though lol. Other ones a repo and needs a fair whack of work but is cheaper and the one that I would prefer.
