    Evening all! *waves*

I've had such a busy day and I'm glad I got up early and got on with it, instead of wasting half the day in bed like I did yesterday!! Progress with the hooking, and my house is sparkling :D

Welcome back to the fold, Cagne and Mrs M, nice to have you both back.

Nikki that kitchen is wow on the eyes, but it looks a decent size and actually the cabinets etc don't look like they're in too bad nick. Unless they've changed the rules in the last 6 years or so back to when, in my previous life, I was an asst bank manger, there is not usually a timescale put on for repos here. That said, if it's an Estate Agent rather than Solicitor who's selling it, probably not a repo. I'm all excited for you! So wish it was me..... Where is it? I keep forgetting you're quite so close to me, we really should sort out a meet up!

Hope everyone's having a good evening, it is Monday after all, so the rest of the week should be plain sailing!! That's my theory anyway....

And im a techie at heart - basically integrating two bits of code (parts of a computer program) together is just like sowing together a couple of pieces of fabric, sometimes with a patch in the middle to fill the gaps.

I'm through in Armadale. Where abouts are you?
Well i've got my fingers crossed mortgage wise. Going to have a veiwing aswell because they only have pictures of 2 rooms up so god knows whats happened to them. Hmmm, if its not a repo I wonder whats happened to it, its deffo empty.

At least I think its an EA whose selling it. BTW I need to go see a mortgage advisor, do the EA have these? I went to a HBOS one last year and he was a *insert profanity here* because I was pregnant.

Some EA's have mortgage advisers, I am using a solicitor/ea and he doesn't have one but a few of the other agents I looked at did. Up here a firm called blackadders seem to do the repo's and they are just estate agents with a bit of solicitorness. Have you looked on zoopla for sold prices in the area?

It could be empty because its been a rental. Is it a flat? kitchen looks similar to some council flats in Dundee. They have a similar cupbord thats like a walk in pantry.

  • I'm still here, I just know nothing about houses!

If the business is a success, I might be buying one in Spain next year though...Exciting!

I really feel like I need to work. I've had great feedback from everyone but nothing is happening...

No its an end terraced house. Its ex council (Im positive) and I know the area well. The houses up there aren't selling atm, one was on the market for 3 years. the ones that do sell go for 75-80k but they are done up to the nines etc IYKWIM?

Even if they don't have an advisor I'm sure they can point me in the right direction.

yeah pop over to the mortgages board even. I found my adviser by googling free mortgage advice dundee. I guess you do the same but using your town name. WHen you view if there is tape on the toilet and cistern (yellow and black) then its a repo.
