    Hello fellow dribblers,

Thought id better pop by. Had a weird couple of weeks again. Sales have dried up on my website. Ebay has finally relented though and accepted me back a seller so have been listing lots on there. Paypal have been taken to court and have only until thursday (6 month hold if people remember) to put in a defence which i cant see how legally they can.

Holiday in 5 weeks with our best mates in the world along with my DD and their DD.

    Hows everyone going?

Also tomorrow will try and quit smoking but need a kick up the bum from people here as well.

Have a few more business based ideas as well but finally maybe open up my dream poundshop proving ebay sales go well.

yeah pop over to the mortgages board even. I found my adviser by googling free mortgage advice dundee. I guess you do the same but using your town name. WHen you view if there is tape on the toilet and cistern (yellow and black) then its a repo.

Hehe ive found another one, 5k cheaper in the same area. Needs decorated and a new kitchen but it has a garage and bigger garden. Toilet has that tape over it (so do all the taps and cooker) buts its white and red??? Still a repo?

BTW in the lower priced house no two walls are decorated the same!
  • You sound really exciting Nikki!
Have you been looking for houses or did you just manage to find one you love?

I tried to get a mortgage last year but my OH has a few black marks :(. And every house was WAY out of our price range so I'm just quite happy to find some that are in my range.

I've always liked the idea of getting a down trodden house and doing it up really pretty. Don't get me wrong, its not my 'dream' home but I could mould it into what I want and sell it in a few years time. Just need to see about a mortgage now.

Exciting? Me?? Haha, I'm 21 with a 10 month old baby, I can't remember the last time I went out without some sort of baby gunk on my clothes. That and I'm a civil servant, all screams 'boring!
  • Aww, I love babies. I worked in a nursery for three year and nannied newborn twins for 2, it broke my heart when they left to go abroad...I can't wait to have kids!

I agree about buying a house and making it gorgeous yourself. I was looking at old crumbly Spanish houses...they seem to have an odd obsession with a putrid green, though, it's horrible. I hope you get your mortgage, it'd be great fun!

Edit: Does this make any sense? I've got head fog, lol.

    Lol yeah it makes sense.

Well according to the mortgage calculator on the EA site I could probably get the amount I need on my salary only. Well my FT one anyway. Which would be good if I can't get it with the OH.

I'd love a little villa abroad - thats my next aim.

saucy they drain the water so it cannot freeze and defrost bursting pipes and so thewater isn't stagnenting for months or years until sale. they tape it so no one goesto wee in it.

  • Nikki boring - nope.

Im 26, in the past 3 years have only gone out drinking with friends 2-3 times, and my inlaws as little as i can get away with! Have a your DS, lived in this house coming upto 3 years and spent virtually every spare penny getting it into a safe state (some right bodges by previous owner).

I work for myself in IT, by myself with my only social outlet on the world being online forums and car club meets, as well as my lovely wife. Im sat infront of this computer 17-20 hours a day and have been known to fall asleep at it.

I dream of the day I am debt free (exc mortgage) as I have already booked that day with Jen to get DS babysat and we are going out and getting completely wasted and wake up the next day with a massive hangover - and not care!
