Hello my lovelies. How is everyone? I have had a strange week this week and a very strange day today. It is 2 years ago this week that I nearly died and had to have emergency surgery and it will be 2 years next monday since the hospital did its best to try kill me off. Today I just sat back and thought how lucky I really am to be here and how lucky I am to have the wonderful man in my life and my family and friends.

What has everyone been up to? What do you have to be thankful for in the midst of everything that has gone wrong :)

Just reading back a bit, i'm glad that i am not the only person who supports BNP although I will admit I didn't vote for them as ther are far to racist n I don't agree with that but I think they have a lot of views that younger people will agree with.

I think we will see more BNP seats won in the next 24 hours.

babymoo. I think they have core policies/ philosophies which are the ones you probably disagree with and then the rest is a kind of hodge podge of policies thrown together to attract voters but not necessarily a coherent strategy for running a country. so there is one policy I have seen that is the most supporive for my issue but I also know that it is tagged on because they know it is an issue not many people will have and so won't even look for or disagree with but may well win votes from people in my situation who are watching policies on that topic closely (actually I don't know anyone in my situaion who would vote for them as a result). It feels like a very cynical move to me and one which I have been shown they have used on other issues. so I will only consider them on their underlying core philosophy and that is something I cannot stomach.
I am really glad you survived everything 2 years ago - must be strange to look back on. glad you are here dribbling with us. sorry for going on about BNP. trying not to get too involved in these discussions and also to be involved if that makes sense.

That's good coz it means I haven't missed an instalment- looking forward to the next chapter it's fascinating but terrible at the same time all you went through :-(

I think conservatives will win aswell, I hope they do. I will cry if Labour get back in again.

TBH I have come to the conclusion that everything that has been said by all the politicians is just a load of crap for them to get the keys to number 10 anyway and they will do what suits them most. I didn't vote last time even though I was old enough because I didn't understand or follow politics and thoguht it would be naive to vote on someting I don't understand. This time I have paid a lot more attention to it and as much as I dont understand I think it is silly to waste a vote.

Will make an interesting evening to come any way :)

babymoo whereas i maybe on 26 next week. i have followed and looked into the previous 50 years of politics and just as any party there are policies and lies being thrown in as with any government. For me i hate labour for all the crap and bringing war to countries for nothing more than a few drops of oil. Conservatives well enough said there with thatchor and housing crash of 1990's. Lib dems just dont agree with their views on joining the euro, drugs policies and generally nick clegg to me just comes off as a smarmy little toss$pot. For other people on here as well, i totally understand your views and points but thats what makes a great society that we all have our opinions and circumstances that reflect how we need to vote. I hope myself that BNP pick up quite a lot more seats. i actually think they could give lib dems a run of the seats (i dont actually mean them getting more but being a lot closer than ever before). Anyways glad everyone is exercising their right to vote as it was a long fight for many people to give us that right. Thats kind of one of my pet hates is people saying i cant be bothered to vote or my vote wont do anything. Millions of uk voters not turning out and i find that in my eyes disrespectful for all those who fought hard for us.

Anyways sorry if that seemed like a rant just running my thought processes through my mind. At least we we dont have communism i guess

meant say i had a feeling more voters would turn out in total today. i actually wondered if social networking such as twitter and facebook have a lot to do with it as well as the recession?
