NLID - everyone has their own rights and opinions dont they and i believe that brown has made a mess. Everyone knows who i voted for and i have my reasons behind them. Just really hope that lib dems dont get in. I really dont want this country adopting the euro and decriminised cannabis either ( i admit i was a user of cannabis for many years until a year before my DD was born) i dont want my daughter or anyone growing up where it can be easily obtained. That in my eyes was just a cheap way of getting some votes considering the 2m plus users of voting age in the uk as well.:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

Hi everyone
Im not finding much time for posting or even reading posts at the minute
Twenty days till move day
Can see the loft floor but now the rest oft he house is a tip
Wow Mabel someone famous wearing a something blue merkin, thats fantastic, carnt belive what started out as a laugh has become a money venture...have you a seperate web site for them, been on to your jewellery one and didnt see them, sorry but Ive got a bit behind with developments with all thats been happening, site looks great by the way:T
had a bad start to today
The commitee were threatening to take the allotment off my dad as it was in my name and I was moving and he had just set the garden,he was a bit off with me which made me a bit upset.
Ive sorted it for him as one of the councillers was in my class at school, so I went to see him, and he agreed my dad could keep it
So I went up to tell him and thought he would be pleased,he was up at the greenhouse and was still being funny with me, so I went in the house to see my mum and she was showing me the decorating theyve been doing, she had a pile of stuff in the living room and was saying it was rubbish to go to go out and I noticed a canvas photo of my DD when she was a baby in amongst it, I have got used to the fact that they have pics of all 5 of the other grankids up all over, but none of mine, and I dont give them photos anymore, but I am really upset if she is throwing that out, it was all dirty as well as it had never been put up.
I should have asked her but didnt know what to say and felt upset, my DD noticed when she was little there were no photos of her and asked my mother why, she just laughed and said she would put one up but had no room.....I feel really upset and angry. Pleased Im moving away:mad:
Got a bundle up on ebay last night and have a few watchers for my fireplace
Still have lots to do and sort
the challenge has had to be sidelined for now but have loads of ideas for when I move
Would like to build a website but dont have a clue...may need some help on that
Carnt wait to get sorted and start new life, sorry for ranting again0 -

I had the labour MP phone me the other day,he asked what promise he could make to me to get me to vote for him, when I started asking awkward questions he just kept saying he was the only one who had bothered to ring me, didnt answer any questions or promise anything, bet he wished he hadnt rang me ...lol
But did he really think I would vote for him because he had randomly chose me to ring....I think not0 -
Is everyone away voting..........0

HHH & NLID - I voted Liberal..... I believe that their policies are more suited to me. I am really worried that there will be a Tory government as it will directly affect my children's education, amongst other things..... I also do not trust a party that cannot do simple maths!!! GB has made a little mess of things, however a lot of the issues with the banks etc can be traced back to Maggie Thatcher de regulating the banks int he 80's and Bill Clinton's government giving Americans the right to own a home even if they can't afford it. Think about the cannabis debate, kids will use drugs, kids will drink alcohol (by kids I mean teenagers), and as a parent myself I have resigned myself to the fact it will happen. Alcohol is a massive problem in this country fuelling domestic violence, street violence, crime etc. You do not see these problems linked to cannabis, the Netherlands is a prime example of a really good social attitude toward drugs. They actually have a lower % rate of addiction to class A drugs than this country per head of population. We really need to rethink the drugs policies in this country... imagine.... more revenue for the government, less money spent of policing (can be diverted elsewhere) and overall a healthier, more realistic education of children on drugs.
'Just say no' didn't work....
I think we will end up with a hung parliament... which will work well between labour / lib dems, but I think ' our mate Dave' and his gang will throw toys out of the pram and ruin this country...... Anyone remember the riots / cuts / strikes of the 80's???? Brace yourself for the same in the years to come....
Anyway that's my little rant for this morning..... but no offence to Hhh & NLID, I am glad you voted! We are all friends here!!!
Toots - hugs! You have raised a very grown up 17 year old! MY OH wouldn;'t even go to the doctor unless I dragged him there, and hes 35!
Even - don't worry about it.... blood is def not thicker than water! Believe me I know....
Washing Machine is working..... yippee.... is it wrong to get excited about an electrical appliance??
I;ve been thinking about my mini move for today, and so far I have come up with
- successful online business with a turnover of £2000 pcm with most of the turnover coming from website....
- ability to start clearing some of the mortgage
- be able to afford to take DS to ballet (she's been asking for ages!) and DD to 'ninja lessons' as he calls them.... oh, and music lessons for them!
- still be able to be here (at home) for the kids when they need me
I think they are fairly achievable targets.... just need a lot of hard work in the mean time!!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
Blimey that was a essay..... see, never get me started on politics or religion!
I do get told I am too opinionated !!!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -

Just did that votematch thing and it reckons I should be voting Labour....hmm don't think so. Was thinking of Lib Dem but had no idea that they wanted to legalize cannabis again so thanks for that info HH. Lib dems have won here for about twenty years so will prob get in anyway....was thinking of green party but that would be a wasted vote . Toooo confusing for my tiny brain cell :-(0 -
