My Mum took the £25, but the old lady across the road saved it for me and paid my health insurance. Gave me £5 pocket money, too. Felt terrible when I got older but I paid for a holiday for them a few years ago to make up for it.
Awwww that is terrible but so nice of that lady-that was lovely of you to pay for a holiday for her hun :-)0 -

Mabel - tissue paper sounds good, pretty stuff with the personalised stickers gets my vote.
Amber - 10p a book regardless of what it is? Weight them as I go and see how many we can cram in? If it works out that there are enough you want to warrant the postage. As long as it is under 40kg it is a good price.
List has gone to pot as OH is home with the pay so I am off to divide up into the various pots and pay the bills. We have come to the agreement that 75% of whatever each of us earn goes in the house pot, and the remaining 25% is our to fritter on whatever we want, in my case driving lessons, in his fish. That way there is no arguements, in theory!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Looking forward to seeing pics lilac :-)
Thanks Mummy-yeah think I will go for tissue-probably blue and sort out some stickers :-)
good agreement with the 25% wages thing-as long as he sticks to it!0 -
That sounds like a good plan, M+P. I'm glad my OH doesn't have fish anymore...they were a nightmare!
How are the lessons going? I'm still waiting to hear if I can continue mine...I'd love to be able to drive.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Can you report if you don't use outlook express?

Sold and posted 2 eBay thingys :A and then accidently spent everything I got paid today.. and then someMost of it was needed though and DS deserved a treat. Hoping to take him to the farm next week aswell if I can find someone to take us, 2x £16 taxis is not a good move, I learnt that lesson last year and yes I feel slightly ashamed admitting (esp on MSE) that I spent £32 on a trip that would of cost about a fiver for me and my sister on a bus, I just couldn't face taking 3 kids on a 40min bus journey!
Anyhoo, I've found eeeeeeeven more to eBay, IT WILL NEVER END!0
