That sounds pretty cheap, MAP, what would you want for the books themselves?

Saucy, would you do better to wait until you get to Spain for the op? Obviously, you'd need to get an immediate referral to the hospital as soon as you arrive, but I imagine Sevilla must have excellent hospitals. Though you might prefer to be operated on in the UK. TBH I know it sucks being in hospital and it wouldn't be much fun being away from OH, but if it wouldn't be for too long then you'd soon get through it.

Yay for ebay nikki and Boo for work and tax year! hope its not too bad for you :-/

Argh -just had a thought...I havent even considered packaging for the new site, boxes would cost a fortune (however the 'belly chains-as they are now being politely called will go in boxes from the wedding jewellery as they are plain) Am thinking perhaps items wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a logo sticker?

Saucy- ring Bupa or me and Amber will whip you :-)Dont be scared of them-its you paying their wages hun!
  • I think that'd be fine...to be honest, if I was going to buy a Merkin, I'd rather it came in tissue paper and in a smallish packet then a box, which would instantly have everyone wondering what it is.
If its merkins we are talking about? :o

Edit: The stupid thing is, I've had it for fourteen years, and never claimed. Took it out with my first ever job, and have paid it ever since...makes me feel a little safer.

As an afterthought, it may be best to claim on the insurance and not worry about the premiums. Would it matter if they go up, since you'll be off to Spain shortly afterwards?

PS - you've been working since you were 5?? There's an idea for all Dribbler parents - send the kids out to work and take their wages ...

I hope you mean 4 years Saucy-thats child labour otherwise!

I'm not just selling merkins there are other products as well but I think tissue paper would work for them all. Dilli has done me a logo so I could get that printed on some stickers..cheaper than boxes.:D

I got £25 a week to clean up the factory floor where my Dad worked...picking up scraps of metal and stuff and putting them in the bin. Even got some HUGE yellow gloves to wear while doing it.

My Mum took the £25, but the old lady across the road saved it for me and paid my health insurance. Gave me £5 pocket money, too. Felt terrible when I got older but I paid for a holiday for them a few years ago to make up for it.
